Broken Bow

Episode Name: Broken Bow
Series: Star Trek Enterprise, Season 1
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
The humans are ready to take to the stars. But before the Enterprise NX-01 starship's maiden flight, a Klingon warrior crash-lands in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. He is chased, but manages to take care of them. Unluckily, a human takes care of him (though he stays alive).
After some "arguing" with the Vulcans, Starfleet decides to send Captian Archer of the Enterprise to send Klang (sp?) home. But interference and the kidnapping of Klang causes things to get messed up.
Captain Archer, the Vulcan science officer T'Pol, and the rest of the crew better hang on, cause things could get wild...

Mission Report:
My first official posts of the Star Trek universe on this blog! I am working on the first Season of Next Generation too, but that's only been so-so overall.
Speaking of watching Next Gen too, it's good to have special effects! They were good special effects, even when they were awkward or gross. Even the Enterprise in space and/or in the station and/or atmosphere was cool.
The story wasn't the greatest. But hey, this was just the pilot (warning: double-length!). It was choppy, and not understandable all the time.
But the rest of the episode was pretty good. I heard that the characters are wonderfully done and the acting's wonderful too. I wouldn't be able to tell you if that confirms true or not. I did like Dr. Phlox. He was a great character and the actor was good with that. But I'm not a good judge with how good an actor is or not or how well done a character is, unless it's super-terrible or great. I couldn't quite get T'Pol... but I'll get a chance to learn the other characters.
The episode was mostly just enjoyable. It had good action. And it was just enjoyable.
Next Gen, which is not on this blog, may not be winning points for me, but Enterprise may just be--I know the pilot did! I'll be continuing this series. Let's see if this is what pulls me through to the Star Trek universe.
This was a good episode overall, but watch it more for enjoyment.
