Blink

Episode Name: Blink
Series: Eureka, Season 1
Rating: Three and a Half Spaceships

Mission Report:
There's been a mysterious hit-and-run. But it's soon found out to have led to a death, possible murder! When the head of Global tells Carter to lay off, saying it's his turf, Carter's not going to listen.
And there's baseball!

Mission Report:
This was another only okay episode. The story was pretty well done. The special effects were pretty gross, though they were lower-key than the last Eureka episode (not counting "the Flash" speed scenes). I'm not the biggest on how they ended. I mean the baseball game, not the actual storyline.
This is not my favorite episode, but it's better than some I've seen.

The Search For Alpha Trion

Episode Name: The Search For Alpha Trion
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
When a group of female Autobots invade Decepticon Headquarters on Cybertron, it's discovered that these females exist, though all were thought dead! Megatron sends orders to capture the leader of the female Autobots, Elita-1! He has nasty plans for her...
And her lover Optimus Prime!

Mission Report:
Yeah, the name "The Search For Alpha Trion" doesn't fit this episode. Sure, there's a search, but it's not a real search. Here's a story glitch, but Optimus somehow knew where Alpha Trion's base was! Weird... the story was more based on the female Autobots' existence and fight, and the love relationships, etc., etc., etc....
But the story was pretty well done. The second half of the episode had some problems, starting with the above mentioned. And Optimus Prime had a love life! I wonder why Elita-1 or the other girlfriends ever came up. They basically replaced Moonracer (Powerglide's girl) with Astoria! Yeesh... they love forgetting series details!
Back to a different subject: Elita-1! Seriously, it's a good idea to keep a love relationship going if you introduce it. Why didn't they keep it? Elita-1 never comes back up anywhere in this series! Yeesh!
Anyway, despite this, was a pretty good show overall.

The next show in this series is Auto-Bop. It was the show that I started the blog out with. So you can go back and read that episode and the rest of the series reviews if you wish! Have fun, and thank you for sticking with me this far!

The Gambler

Episode Name: The Gambler
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Two Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
No, it's not that country song!
Zooming off from where Child's Play left off, the toy spaceship piloted by the Autobots is captured by the gambler Bosh. Bosh steals the free will of the Autobots, making them slaves! Only Smokescreen manages to stay free. Autobot and gambler make a deal to work together to get the energy to refuel Bosh's empty-fueled ship and restore his friends, and they head off to the gambling asteroid of Monicus.
But there's going to be trouble a-brewing...

Mission Report:
Guess.
Yep, it's a looser to content. I don't care for the gambling or the Autobots being slaves! I don't care for it an inch!
Reason for second Spaceship? *Giggle*... the same reason as Dark Awakening! The story was very surprisingly well-done! There were a few glitches, but they weren't biggies.
Despite the well-done story, this is a least fave episode of mine, due to content.

Child's Play

Episode Name: Child's Play
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Five Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
The Decepticons set up a Spacebridge in the middle of a baseball stadium. But a battle-related accident causes the Spacebridge to transport a small group of Decepticons (Starscream, Soundwave, Thrust, and Ravage) and Autobots (Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Smokescreen, Persceptor, and Inferno), as well as the bunch of Eneron Cubes, to transport to an unknown planet. But the planet is so big, the Cybertronians are toy-sized compared to the locals! The Autobots make a friend of the young alien boy Aaron (sp?*).
But they soon discover that their only danger isn't with the Decepticons on this planet...

Mission Report:
This is another top-fave. The story was extremely well-done. The only glitches were minor, and some were just due to art-and-restoration problems.
The baseball jokes at the start were pretty cool (Decepticon side) and pretty awesome (Autobot side). And then watching the Cybertronians be "small" was pretty cool too. Seeing what they did due to their relative size and what the world looked like down low was pretty awesome.
This is one of my favorite shows.

*Don't know if that's how it's spelled on the show

The Secret Of Omega Supreme

Episode Name: The Secret Of Omega Supreme
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Two Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
The Decepticons bring an energy-filled asteroid into Earth's orbit, and have the Constructicons start mining. When searching out Omega Supreme, Optimus learns of Omega's past and his secret... he was once friends with the Constructicons, and they betrayed him! Now he wants revenge! But a battle on the asteroid leads to its hatching... yep, it was an egg! A super-hungry creature goes on the rampage, and only Omega Supreme can save the day.
And, um, yeah... he's a little busy with his revenge!

Mission Report:
This is personally not one of my faves. The story had some glitches (though not total trash), and was not the best for enjoyment. It was cool seeing Decept's and an Autobot friends for a short time, and then it was betrayal, mind-altering, etc., etc., etc....
Oh, I'd said I'd gripe about this in a different review, but here's where we realize that they are casually forgetting series details! The Constructicons were originally made on Earth, but, binga-banga-boom, suddenly they were born on Cybertron! The Master Builders was actually the first one with this problem, but I just hate that episode anyway and I forgot to mention it. But it's of higher importance in this one, and just plain annoying! They remembered it in Desertion Of The Dinobots Parts 1-2 (the Constructicons could function for the same reason that the Dinobots could), but then they smashed it! ANNOYING!!!
This is personally not a fave show of mine.

Quest For Survival

Episode Name: Quest For Survival
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
An army of Insecticons is eating up the Earth's food supply! The Decepticons have discovered a way to get the Energon from their allies' bodies, so the alliance is once again go... with certain trickery, of course!
To try and save the world, the Autobots send Cosmos, Bumblebee, and Spike to get a robotic insecticide. But the mechanical plants of Floran-3 hitch a ride. Bumblebee and Spike manage to get away, but Cosmos, with the insecticide, is trapped by them! A valley is soon take over.
Soon, everyone's heading for the valley of the plants, called morphobots, for their own reasons...

Mission Briefing:
Yeah, the Insecticons are in it, I like it! Lol!
But back to business. The story was very well-done, with only a few glitches. But it does include a series problem. We first see who I like to call the "SUV Autobot" in this episode. He appears up one more time (Triple Takeover), but we never learn this guy's name! It's never mentioned! Annoying! If I'm to guess from the classic 1980's Transformers comics, I think his name's Skids, but we never know! YEESH!
Anyway, I still really this show! It's a fave!

The Golden Lagoon

Episode Name: The Golden Lagoon
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
During a battle, Beachcomber discovers a secret valley. Within the valley is a golden lagoon--a lagoon filled with a liquid called electrum! If a Transformers bathes in it, he becomes invunerable (sp?)! Thrust finds this pool, and therefore the rest of the Decepticons follow along...
The Autobots are going to have a really bad day!

Mission Report:
A pretty good show. The story was good (though with some small-medium glitches). It also teaches a good lesson. I'm impressed!
This show was so an excuse to color Transformers with only one color! And it stuck to their transformed modes as well! One time, Megatron transformed into Soundwave's hand--still gold! Soundwave was "The Bot With The Golden Gun"! LOL!!!*
This was a pretty good show.

*That's a James Bond joke, for those who don't know. One of the movies is called "The Man With The Golden Gun".

The Autobot Run

Episode Name: The Autobot Run
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: One and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
While the Autobots do a vehicle show for charity, Megatron has them zapped with his Transfixatron. Stuck in their vehicle modes, the Autobots are captured. Only a handful manage to not get zapped, one being on the sidelines, the others at Autobot Headquarters.
It's up to them to save their friends...

Mission Report:
I mentioned this in the Beast Wars episode The Probe review, but I shall say again that I did not care for this show! The story had some glitches, but it wasn't total trash. It was all due to content.
And I have no idea why the Autobots were so helpless in their vehicle modes! In other shows, they're constantly ramming Decepticons in their car modes! In one episode, their headlights were shooting lasers! They are so not helpless in their car modes! So why were they in this episode? It makes no sense!!! YEESH!!!
The fact that this episode uses the second art style (City of Steel, and The Core are two examples that use this art style, though there's more) that I don't care for didn't help either!
This is another least-fave episode of mine.

Make Tracks

Episode Name: Make Tracks
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
After helping catch some car thieves, Tracks goes out for a nighttime spin in New York. But an attempted stealing puts Tracks in a bad shape, and leads him to meet the city boy named Rowel. Together, the duo discover a Decepticon plot.
New York, prepare for your second Decepticon rumble!

Mission Report:
This show is the second New York show. It's also where we meet another semi-common human character: Rowel! He's less common than the main gang, but he does pop up again (Auto-Bop).
The story needs some work. There were a couple of glitches and don't-make-sense scenes. But it's kind of enjoyable. Hey, like I said before, despite the fights, Rowel and Tracks are friends! It's fun to see where that all started.
And there's a awesome background scene. On movie-theater signs, it would say "The Transformers: The Movie" or something highly similar! Now that's an awesome way to advertise*!
This was a pretty good show overall.

*If that was what they were trying to do.

The Core

Episode Name: The Core
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Three and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Megatron and the Decepticons are drilling to the Earth's core for its energy. The bad news is that it will shatter the Earth! To get the advantage, the Autobots manage to take over Devastator (the Constructicons' combined mode)!
Too bad that Megatron has a counter-plan in mind...

Mission Report:
Not the best. The story had quite a few glitches (for example, how in the world did Megatron know what the Autobots' plan was?). And the enjoyment level wasn't totally the best. And it had that art style introduced in City Of Steel that I don't overly care for either!
But it was fun watching Devastator being an Autobot for a short time. And there was a team-up at the end! Awesome!
This was a good show, but it needs a little work.

The God Gambit

Episode Name: The God Gambit
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Cosmos is shot down, and crashes on the moon (I think) of Titan. The Decepticons Astrotrain, Starscream, and Thrust discover the superspicious (sp?) people of the planet, and convince most of them that they're gods!
Autobots Jazz and Perceptor team up with the freedom fighter Talaria to do a lot of saving...

Mission Report:
The story was okay. There were a couple of glitches. This wasn't the best episode for me--mortals thought of as false gods? You got to remember that I'm Christian, so I believe in the one true God. So the enjoyment level wasn't high for me. Though when I first saw this, I thought it was going to go in a totally different direction than it did, so I'm at least happy it went in this direction than the one I feared.
This was an okay show overall, though it won't hit my fave list.

A Decepticon Raider In King Arthur's Court

Episode Name: A Decepticon Raider In King Arthur's Court
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
To escape the Autobots, the Decepticons Starscream, Rumble, Ramjet, and Ravage hide inside a mysterious mound. They activate some sort of old device, and find themselves in 543 AD--the time of knights! Starscream joins up with Sir Blackthorne (sp?), secretly on a mission to take over this past Earth!
But the Autobots Hoist and Warpath have followed the Decepticons through with their human friend Spike. They join the Red Knight, Sir Aegling (sp?), in trying to save the past...

Mission Report:
This is another all-time favorite. The time travel element is awesome, and it's fun to see future characters in a past element. How they did this and that was cool and fun! It was highly enjoyable, and the story was very well-done! There were some glitches, but it mostly very good. And they managed to add magic and a dragon in it as well! Awesome!
This is definitely one of my favorites!

Blaster Blues

Episode Name: Blaster Blues
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Megatron steals a device from a human scientist, and, thanks to Blaster, the Autobots come late. Then Megatron kidnaps Blaster and Cosmos during a search mission, and uses Blaster and the device to take over Earth's airwaves! Earth is on a communications blackout, so it's going to be a lot of trouble...

Mission Report:
The story was pretty well-done. But there were some glitches in it. And the enjoyment level is only about average.
This was an okay show.

Dr. Nobel

Episode Name: Dr. Nobel
Series: Eureka, Season 1
Rating: Three and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
When moving into his new office, Fargo activates a death-weapon by accident. Everyone gets to work trying to stop it, their only hope is an old man... who has had a metal breakdown!

Mission Report:
This story was very well-done. It wasn't the best for enjoyment, but it was still well done.
This may be one of the better Eureka episodes that I've seen.

Desertion Of The Dinobots Parts 1-2

Episodes Names: Desertion Of The Dinobots Parts 1-2
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
It's the usual for both Autobots and Decepticons. And then all Cybertronians start malfunctioning... both Autobot and Decepticon! It turns out that a special (and important) element in their circuitry is breaking up. Bad news is, the cybertonium (the element) is found only on Cybertron! The Dinobots are sent, but they quit the Autobots, staying put on Cybertron when they get there!
It's up to Spike and Carlee to save the Autobots' lives...

Mission Report:
This was an only average show. There was some story glitches (lot near the beginning) and confusing parts. The enjoyment level was about average. The only really good parts was the bit of lore added in, and the end, when Spike and Carlee are made Honorary Autobots! Awesome! The rest was just okay.
While it didn't lose completely, this episode needs some work.

City Of Steel

Episode Name: City Of Steel
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Three And a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Welcome to the Big Apple! Megatron is hungry for power, so he sets his sights on New York, New York! He starts transforming the city into a Cybertronian city, renamed New Cybertron. And he's captured Optimus Prime, so the Autobots are helpless. The Autobots launch a rescue mission...
But it doesn't help that Optimus has been chopped up into pieces!

Mission Briefing:
This is the episode where we're introduced into the second art style. Personally, I like the normal art style better. This is also the episode where we first see another common location for the series--New York! Oh, and this episode's got its own King Kong reference--they even mention it's from King Kong! LOL!
At first, the episode isn't great enjoyment. I mean--OP in suspended animation and then chopped up? Not comfy! It gets better, but... yeesh.
The story was actually pretty well-done. There were only a few glitches, and they were pretty minor. Most of the time, they just switched scenes too fast.
This was a pretty good show, but you have to get past the first part.

Auto Berserk

Episode Name: Auto Berserk
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
The Autobots have made a new super-weapon: the Negavator! But during a Decepticon attempt to get the Negavator, Red Alert is injured badly. Not only will his ciruits soon explode; now he believes that everyone's out to get him!
This makes it easy for Starscream to trick him so that he can get the Negavator...

Mission Report:
The enjoyment level was about average in this show, but it's a big relief after Megatron's Master Plan. And the story was very brilliantly well-done! There was only one glitch in the story, and that was a location problem. The bridge had been taken out, and the Autobots were opposite the Negavator. Then they were next to the Negavator! I suppose they flew, but it was never explained.
This episode also includes a fave Starscream line. Megs begins with: "One day, Prime...!" And then Starscream injects, "Skip the oration!" There's a good chuckle!
This was a pretty good and well-done show, a true relief from that two-parter!

Megatron's Master Plan Parts 1-2

Episodes Names: Megatron's Master Plan Parts 1-2
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: One Spaceship

Mission Briefing:
Megatron's best plan ever is in motion--he has framed the Autobots! He tricks humanity into thinking that the Autobots are evil, and the Decepticons are good. He even tricks the wealthy and greedy Shaun Berger into helping him. But the Autobots' human friends--Sparkplug, Spike, and Chip (Carlee's not in this episode for some reason)--believe in their friends. Spike looks for evidence of the Autobots' innocence, but the Autobots are banished from Earth! And Megs sets up certain destruction for his foes... leaving the Decepticons to do as they please on Earth!
Hope's pretty much gone this round...

Mission Report:
LEAST FAVORITE EPISODES EVER!!!
And it's not all due to the multi-parter fact, though that helped these episodes lose. The killer was the content. The story was pretty well done, though there were some unexplained glitches (How could Starscream be playing Optimus Prime when he was helping Megs with the fake counterattack? Why did Optimus Prime change his mind? And where is this illusion of the Autobots' that Optimus Prime mentions in the end? And I think there were a few more, but they were smaller glitches). The story is the only thing giving the two-parter a whole Spaceship!
One good part is the look on Megatron's face when he hears Optimus Prime's voice in the end. Awesome! I laughed at that. I mean, he almost literally heard a ghost! LOL! Fun!
And it was kind of fun watching the Decepticons being celebrated as heroes. And I think Megatron enjoyed it... at least for a short time. :)
The very beginning wasn't too bad, until they got to the deceiving part...
But the rest of the episodes was a sure killer. It was not comfortable, and not enjoyable. I'm impressed with the plan, but that's about it.
I absolutely hate these episodes!!! It's a set of episodes you love to hate! Or at least I do!

Day Of The Machines

Episode Name: Day Of The Machines
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Thee and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Megatron reprograms the world's strongest computer, Torq 3. He then gives Torq the ability to control machines with remote-control circuit-breakers, including oil tankers to get the Decepticons energy! And then there's the humans held captive by Torq in his home of Quantum Labs...
It's going to be a day of mayhem for the Autobots!

Mission Report:
The story was very well done. There were only a few flaws, but those flaws were pretty big. They said that Optimus slipped in the dead card for the real one, but we never saw it happen, or a chance for it to happen! And, a bigger one, the two captive Autobots were disarmed, and then they suddenly had their weapons back! Yeesh... The enjoyment level was only average, too.
This is not a fave, but it didn't bomb the place completely either!

The Insecticon Syndrome

Episode Name: The Insecticon Syndrome
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
The Insecticons and the Decepticons team up to invade the NOVA Power Plant. The Autobots try to stop them, but the Insecticons get the power, growing bigger and very powerful! Next stop for the 'Cons is Iron Mountain, where they want the Defense Computer. But treachery is being plotted on both sides of the 'Con equation.
And the Autobots have discovered that the NOVA power is going to blow the Insecticons... and anyone/anything near them... sky-high!

Mission Report:
Insecticons in it, it's one that I enjoy! The story was very wonderfully done, with very few glitches that were very minor. The last scenes, where there's a rise-from-the-dead memo (sort of) is disturbing (lost half-ship). But Megs teamed up with the Autobots at the end, and this is was an enjoyable show!
I really like this show.

The Master Builders

Episode Name: The Master Builders
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Two Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Grapple is disappointed when Optimus denies his request to build a solar-power tower. Then the Constructicons come along, and team up with him and Hoist to build a real-life solar-power tower ("solar-power tower" is kind of fun to say).
But there's treachery afoot...

Mission Report:
Yeah, content issues. The story was written pretty well, it was the content that set me off. I'm just so repulsed by this episode, I don't even really want to talk about it!
There were a few good things about the show, not just how well the story was written. It was interesting watching the Constructicons build something (not meant for destruction either, to boot!).
But the only parts I really like about this episode is watching Optimus Prime play basketball! He's got a gift too! It's just fun to watch!
Despite the basketball scenes, this is one of my least favorite episodes.

Microbots

Episode Name: Microbots
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
A Decepticon ship is discovered. Megs, of course, goes after it. He takes from it an energy maximizer called the Heart of Cybteron, and places it inside of him. It makes him extremely powerful... too powerful! The Autobots are in danger of being slaughtered!
To counteract, the scientist Autobot Perceptor shrinks himself, Bumblebee, and Brawn (who's been fighting because he believes Perceptor is not worth it, since he doesn't spend much time fighting) to sneak inside Megatron and disconnect the Heart of Cybertron before total destruction!
But things are on a timer...

Mission Report:
This another one of my all-time faves. The story needs a little work, but most where location problems. And they were never too clear that if this ship was (or part of) Nemesis. I think it was part of the Nemesis.
But we once again have Cybertronians acting human--the Decepticons get drunk! On energy, so it's power... they got "drunk on power"! LOL!!! Sorry, couldn't resist.
I've always enjoyed the inside-Megatron scenes. I liked learning about the insides of the Cybertronians. It was fun!
And, to top it off, a lesson is learned! Cool!
This is one of my favorite episodes of The Transformers.

Attack Of The Autobots

Episode Name: Attack Of The Autobots
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: One and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
During an attack on Autobot HQ, Megatron sneaks in a personality disstablizer (sp?) into the Autobots' recharging chambers. The next day, the Autobots are turned evil! Under Decepticon control, it's going to be nothing but mayhem... and there's a solar satellite due for launch! It's up to the only unchanged Autobots--Bumblebee and Jazz--and their human friends Spike and Sparkplug to save the day.
But how can four fight a whole army and change them back...?

Mission Report:
I mentioned it on a Beast Wars episode review, but I'm saying it again. I don't like this show!
Again, it's a looser due to content. The story was average material (half-Spaceship reason), but it had some glitches and some confusing parts. But evil Autobots? Autobots under Decepticon control? Hello? Instant dislike!
This is one of my least favorite episodes.

Atlantis, Arise!

Episode Name: Atlantis, Arise!
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Two and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
On an energy-searching mission, the Decepticons discover the underwater city of Sub-Atlantica. They make an alliance with the fish-men there, and are soon wrecking havoc in Washington DC. The allies are plotting treachery against the other, however.
Despite this, the Autobots still have a very "fishy" problem...

Mission Report:
Not one of my favorites. The story needs some work, since it had glitches. And the enjoyment level is not very high. At the most, Grimlock said some amusing lines.
Oh, and remember in the live-action movie Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, Megatron takes Lincoln off of the Lincoln Memorial and sits in it like a throne? In this episode, it's the first-time ever for that scene! Classic (1980's) Megatron also takes Lincoln off the Memorial and sits on it for throne usage. That's a scene I enjoy as well (I mean, it's so obvious it's fun!).
And, like usual, I enjoyed Starscream. He's trying to reveal the traitor in this episode: King Nergill of the Sub-Atlanticans! Takes a traitor to know a traitor, aye? LOL!
Anyway, despite a few scenes and lines, this is not one of my fave shows.

A Prime Problem

Episode Name: A Prime Problem
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Megatron and the Decepticons discover a crevice of corlonium (sp?) crystals. These rare energy-packed crystals destroy electronic circuitry on contact. In English: Cybertronian-killers! Megatron makes a clone of Optimus Prime--under his control--to lead the Autobots into the crevice. But the real Optimus Prime is around, so everyone's confused on who's who.
Like the episode name says, it's a "Prime" problem...

Mission Report:
This is an enjoyable episode to watch. The story was only average material, and needs work. I mean, a remote-controlled Optimus Prime, and it was supposed to be exactly like him, down to the smallest part? Okay, how about the part that gets Megatron's signals? Shouldn't that been different, and shouldn't have Teletraan-1 picked it up?
And there's the attitude. This is a much better-done mystery than Thief In The Night, but there were times that I felt like the character clearly showed who was who. Now, most of the time, I had problems too, but once, during a pre-trap scene, the two Optimus's spoke, and I felt like it was obvious who was the real Optimus Prime. How come no one else picked it up? There was one similar scene during the tests too...
(And I believe this episode gave the folks a chance to blow up Starscream, clone or not!)
But the enjoyment level of the show was pretty high. Watching the tests was fun... The top two Decepticons wore hats... wait, helmets are a better term...
This is not a good show to watch for the story, but it's very enjoyable!

Changing Gears

Episode Name: Changing Gears
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Megatron captures the Autobot Gears to use his special circuitry-chip for his (Megs) new invention... the Solar Needle! This device takes energy from the sun, as well as making Gears, the Autobots' "Grumpy Bear", nice!
But the sun is now unstable, and liable to explode. The Autobots have to save the day, but with Gears a too-willing slave and Megatron expecting them, well...
Things are going to get hot!

Mission Report:
Only an average show all around. Average story, average enjoyment level, etc., etc., etc.!
The only interesting thing is the first "Star Harvester", the Solar Needle! The Solar Needle basically has the same function as the Star Harvester in Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen. That's a very interesting note!
This was only an okay show.

Enter The Nightbird

Episode Name: Enter The Nightbird
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Optimus Prime and the Autobots agree to guard a human scientist's (Dr. Fujiyama) new robot creation during its unveiling. It is a female robot ninja named the Nightbird. Bad news? Oh man, we can all guess...
YEP! Megatron and the Decepticons steal Nightbird. With the help of Bombshell, they reprogram her to steal Teletraan-1's World Energy Chip, which has data on all of Earth's energy resources! The Autobots are trying to get Nightbird back, but Optimus has sworn that he would not let Nightbird get hurt.
And she's not making it easy...

Mission Report:
This is one of my favorites. The ninja element was awesome! Seeing a ninja at work, fight, and so forth was so much fun! And I think Megatron had a crush on Nightbird by the end! MEGATRON! Awe-some! And guess who saved the day! GUESS! Starscream! Did I say "awesome"? Well, I'm saying it again... AWE-SOME!
There were a few story flaws. One was clever... there's a scene where Nightbird puts on a light show and disappears. It is never made clear whether it was teleportation (though most likely) or if she blinded them then ran off. But they had Bluestreak ask how she did it, and Optimus Prime says, "I wish I knew, Bluestreak." I heard that this is a good thing to do in a story.
At least one mistake wasn't as covered as well. We see Mirage get beaten up, and then it's Ironhide on the repair table! They also never made it clear how long Nightbird stayed and whether or not she beat up some other Autobots.
But, otherwise, the story was well-done and highly enjoyable. Too bad they never brought her back (though they implied it in the end).
This is (obviously) one of my fave shows!

Traitor

Episode Name: Traitor
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Megs and the Cons steal a bunch of electro-cells for their energy purposes. Bad news is, that the electro-cells are not yet safe! If they explode, possible outcome: bye-bye planet Earth! It's up to the Autobots to stop them.
But it's no help that Cliffjumper is charging Mirage with treachery! Mirage has a plan of his own to get the electro-cells, but it makes him look like a traitor. Oh, and the Insecticons are playing along as well!
Things are getting troublesome...

Mission Report:
More content issues. This is one of those exceptions I mention in the A Plague Of Insecticons review. It's not comfy watching Mirage being blamed for everything and then being turned into a mind-slave by one of Bombshell's cerebro-shells (the first time we see Bombshell's classic power). Plenty of lost points for that, and the fact that the writers forgot that they set up Mirage as a fight-hater in the original three-parter More Than Meets The Eye. Annoying!
But the show was enjoyable to watch in some parts. And the story was excellent! There were only a very few glitches (not counting the series-mistake mentioned above), ones that were very minor! Heh-heh-heh... I'm reminded of Dark Awakening! LOL!
Anyway, this is not my fave episode, but I again tip my hat to the writer, and remember that there were some enjoyable parts in this show!

Dinobot Island Parts 1-2

Episodes Names: Dinobot Island Parts 1-2
Series: The Transformers, Season 1
Rating: Three and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
When investigating mysterious energy waves, Bumblebee and Powerglide discover a mysterious island still stuck in the time of the dinosaurs! The clumsy Dinobots are sent there to train, dubbing the island the name "Dinobot Island". But the island is packed to the brim with energy, and the Decepticons learn of it. Of course, they want the energy for themselves!
But their Energon collecting may have very bad results...

Mission Briefing:
Okay show. It had a major story glitch: the island and the energy waves! What were they? Was the island in the past, or present? It had one other major glitch, but I can't remember it now. The story was good otherwise, and it was very enjoyable (Megs got beat with his own strategy used earlier in the shows! AWESOME!).
This was only an okay show.

The Immobilizer

Episode Name: The Immobilizer
Series: The Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Wheeljack has made a new invention: the Wheeljack Instant Immobilizer! This object freezes any moving object in its tracks. Unluckily, during a get-a-piece-for-broken-Immobilizer run, Ravage manages to place a mircobug on Bumblebee, so the Decepticons learn of the Immobilizer!
Meanwhile, Ironhide is having doubts whether or not he's too old to do the Autobot thing anymore. It doesn't help that the Decepticons manage to ambush the Autobots on his watch!
But he may just have to forget age when the Autobots' new friend, Carlee, is captured by the Decepticons... and don't forget that Immobilizer!

Mission Report:
Ah, they came off the rebound! This one of my favorites. The story's good, though it has a few story glitches. This is where we see what I like to call the first version of Slo-Mo's watch (S.U.V.--Society of Ultimate Villainy, Transformers Animated, Season 2). *Giggle*...
Plus, we meet Spike's love life and the main female character of this series (at least until Season 3, where we get Arcee): Carlee! Nice to have a girl in the flow! And she's got to be older than Spike... (I'm just guessing) since she drives a car! Now, for all I know, Spike's older than her and just rides around in the Autobots at this point, but that's just my guess! Anyway, welcome to the series, Carlee!
This is another fave show of mine.

Autobot Spike

Episode Name: Autobot Spike
Series: The Transformers, Season 2 (1985)
Rating: One and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Sparkplug has made a robo-Frankenstein, Autobot X. Bad news is, the intro was highly similar to the Dinobots'... kaboom goes the nearby objects (luckily, Teletraan-1 remained unharmed this time). Then the Decepticons attack a rocket base, which ends up like their usual plans... to-tal failure! To make sure the Autobots don't tag along on the retreat, Megatron blasts Bumblebee, with Spike inside. Spike is badly hurt, and the only safe way to operate on his body is to transfer his mind to Autobot X... but there are dangerous side-effects. Spike is having trouble controlling himself from blasting/tearing/smashing everything in sight.
Is Megatron going to let this oppurtunity (sp?) slip from his grasp?
Do I even have to ask?

Mission Report:
Another loser to content.
The story was pretty good; just a few mistakes. The killer was "evil, out-of-control Spike". And I would like to have a little more detail on how the mind transfer had that "little" side-effect. But it was not comfy watching Spike, in Autobot X, becoming out-of-control and evil.
This was not a great way to start off Season 2.
This is another least-fave episode.

Heavy Metal War

Episode Name: Heavy Metal War
Series: The Transformers, Season 1
Rating: Two Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Megatron has a new plan, blah-blah-blah! This time, he aims to win the war through Optimus Prime's sense of honor... due to Cybertron law, if the war goes on for a long time, the two leaders can have a final showdown without help from their armies; the loser and his army exile themselves to deep space, and the winner stays where he pleases. And Megatron has a plan to cheat, of course! With the help of his new Constructicons, he makes a device that allows him to take the powers of the Earth Decepticon Army*! Then he sends the Constructicons on a demolition mission, with Teletraan-1 as the target!
There's little hope for the Autobots this time around. Will they win the day?

Mission Report:
Here's another loser due to content. The story was decent, with only a few story glitches. And the Decepticon-power showcase is kind of fun and interesting. But it had the Optimus-beaten-to-a-pummel-near-death-kind element in it. I did not enjoy that. I'll be honest... the first time I saw this, I got all happy because it had Starscream in it. In Countdown To Extinction, I thought that they had taken out Starcream for good! But, nope, he's back! But the OBTAPNDK (up above in intalics) element killed it.
This is not my favorite episode.

*This is sometimes what I call the Decepticon Army that's on Earth.

Invincible

Episode Name: Invincible
Series: Eureka, Season 1
Rating: Two Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
When the scared-of-everything scientist (I think a field of biology), Carl, is in an accidental explosion, he's fired. He soon discovers that he can quickly regenerate his cells, AKA heal quickly. But there's more than meets the eye with these new powers...
And part of it has to do with the Artifact of Section 5...

Mission Briefing:
I think I'm going to be calling that object in Section 5 "The Artifact" for a while. Once again we get a view of it... not a clear view, but whatever!
I did not overly care for this one. The story wasn't very enjoyable. The actual "writing" is average material, but the enjoyment level's very low. The special effects were good... not helpful when it's a lot of injuries and healing it (yuck!). The only good thing is that Carl looks a lot like Artie from Warehouse 13. Whether or not that's coincedence (sp?), I don't know.
This is probably my least favorite Eureka episode at this time.

A Plague Of Insecticons

Episode Name: A Plague Of Insecticons
Series: The Transformers, Season 1
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Mysterious giant robo-insects have been attacking people. It's soon discovered that these robo-bugs are really Decepticons whose escape pod crashed on Earth before the Ark did. They're now known as the Insecticons, and when Megs gets them to join the Decepticons, the Autobots better be ready for a bug problem...

Mission Report:
I've noticed that if it has Insecticons in it, I usually enjoy the show. There are exceptions, of course. But this is is where that trend starts.
The story was pretty well-done, though it did have flaws. And I never really enjoyed the "Sideswipe's Shortcut" scenes. But the rogue bug-'Cons are in! And this is a show that includes my favorite Shrapnel attack... summoning lightning from the sky and using it to blast every enemy in sight! Now that's clean from-nature power, it it not? LOL!
Anyway, this is a show I overall enjoy.

Countdown To Extinction

Episode Name: Countdown To Extinction
Series: The Transformers, Season 1
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
It's the aftermath of The Ultimate Doom. The Autobots are helping to fix the Earth. The bad news? Megatron is still around, and ready to rock n' roll! Unluckily, he finds out that Starscream is way ahead of him.
Starscream has gone to Dr. Arkeville's secret lab, and he's pretty much fired up a bomb! He's going to destroy the Earth, and collect the energy of its destruction while on Cybertron. Of course, no one knows about the bomb, but the Autobots know that the Decepticons, who are hunting Starscream and Dr. Akreville, are out. Everyone's trying to stop everyone else...
But the clock is ticking...

Mission Report:
This has always been one of my faves. It has two elements that wins points for me: Starscream acting brave, and a team-up between bad guys and good guys! Yay!
But there are story problems. Quite a few center on Dr. Arkeville. Like, how did everyone know where Dr. Arkeville's secret lab was? The Decepticons make sense, because they worked with him, but the Autobots...? Get my point? And why did Starscream drag Dr. Arkeville everywhere? Was Doc Ark (LOL!) a pet? That was never clear. And what did happen to Dr. Arkeville? He never shows up again (cyborg-Arkeville lost the episodes a few points), and while I wouldn't overly rejoice to seeing him again, I would wish to know what happened. And another glitch is how the Autobots enter. Optimus said "not to let him [Megatron] regroup with the other Decepticons" (quote's off), but the screen showed Megatron with other Decepticons! Then the first battle scene... a little confusing.
But the rest of the story was good and enjoyable.
This is one of my fave shows.

The Ultimate Doom Parts 1-3

Episodes Names: The Ultimate Doom Parts 1-3
Series: The Transformers, Season 1
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Megatron has made an ally of the evil human scientist Dr. Arkeville, who has made the Hpyno-Chip, which can turn humans into slaves! The first slave is none other than Sparkplug Witwicky. Then, to make things even worse, Megatron brings Cybertron into Earth's orbit, causing major problems due to gravity fields!
The Autobots may be unable to save the day this time...

Mission Report:
These are some of my least favorites. Part of it is that it's a long multi-parter, and part of it was content. Let's be honest... human slaves? Not comfy in the least... Though it got through Megs' thick head that we're useful! I consider this the first episode where it really gets through his thick head (though Roll For It might be considered as well).
The story needs some work. There were a few story glitches. A good deal were character placement. Like, one minute Arkeville's at the SpaceBridge site, the next in Decepticon HQ. And one minute the Autobot-Decepticon battle is in the jungle, and next minute it's on the beach! Oh, and where did Megatron's starship come from? How was he able to build it and when? YEESH!
Other than the glitches, the story was pretty well-written. And these episodes include some of my favorite scenes. Bumblebee swinging on a vine like Tarzan! An underwater battle! And my top favorite... the surfing scene! That was awesome!
So these episodes are not my favorite, despite my favorite scenes in them, mainly due to content.

War Of The Dinobots

Episode Name: War Of The Dinobots
Series: The Transformers, Season 1
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
A meteorite crashes on Earth. The Autobots take a sample, and have the Dinobots guard it. Optimus orders the construction of two more Dinobots. Then Wheeljack discovers that the meteorite is filled with unstable energy, and could explode at any minute! Optimus rushes to find the meteor...
But Megatron hasn't been sitting idle. He wants the meteorite, and he has turned the Dinobots against Optimus!
Will the day be saved...?

Mission Report:
Decent story, but needs work. Most of the problem was with content. Yeah, we all know that the Dinobots don't always agree with Autobots, but they're Autobots all the same! Seeing them turn against Optimus isn't comfy, nor is the fact that Optimus's circuits gets cooked, almost to the death-point!
So this is not my favorite episode, but at least it wasn't a total failure.

Fire On The Mountain

Episode Name: Fire On The Mountain
Series: The Transformers, Season 1
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Megatron is artifact-hunting, and there are no Warehouse 13 agents around! (LOL!) He goes after the legendary Incan Crystal of Power, which controls energy from the Earth's core. But a "steel"-ing mission of Starscream and Thundercracker's attracts the Autobots, and things are finalized as dangerous when Megatron uses his new weapon, with the Crystal of Power as a main component, to blow Teletraan-1's Sky Spy probe. To help, the Autobots dig up and reactivate Skyfire...
But will it be enough?

Mission Report:
This is another one I enjoy. Skyfire's back, and he has a more enjoyable character (then again, he was doubtful in the last episode with him in it). There are some story glitches, but it was more enjoyable. It also has some of my favorite scenes... like when Laserbeak sat on Megatron's shoulder, making a pirate-and-parrot like scene. And then there's the scene where Megatron is blasted by his own fusion gun! FUN!
I like this episode.

S.O.S. Dinobots

Episode Name: S.O.S. Dinobots
Series: The Transformers, Season 1
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
When the Autobots discover about dinosaurs, Optimus Prime authorizes the creation of the Dinobots Grimlock, Slag, and Sludge. But their intro performance wreck Teletraan-1, so Optimus orders the Dinobots deactivated, never to be awaken again!
But the Dinobots may be the Autobots' last hope when the Autobots are captured by Decepticons!

Mission Report:
This was not my favorite. The story was decently written, but that and the enjoyment level were just average. There were a few amusing lines (like Rumble's rhyme).
This wasn't the worst, but it didn't earn any great awards either.

Fire In The Sky

Episode Name: Fire In The Sky
Series: The Transformers, Season 1
Rating: Five Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
After witnessing a snowball fight between Spike and his Autobots, Optimus Prime discovers that the heat energy is being drained from the Earth's core. Who else could be doing it but the Decepticons? Megatron and his gang have gone to the North Pole and are draining the heat energy out of Earth's core!
But they also make a big discovery... a bot frozen in the ice! This bot turns out to be Skyfire, an old friend of Starscream's! Skyfire may be the Decepticons' biggest asset...
Or will he be the Autobots'?

Mission Report:
This is one of my favorite episodes. We learn that Starscream had a life pre-war, and meet his old friend from it! It's nice to see Starscream care for somebody, even for a short time.
The story was wonderfully done. Any glitches that existed where very minor, so much it doesn't really matter. One was a change in scenery, but that may be art styles or someone forgot who was where near the end. But the rest was extremely well done. It made us feel the right things at the right times, and was just wonderful. It was a great come-off-the-rebound episode!
This is one of my Top Ten Transformers episodes!

Divide And Conquer

Episode Name: Divide And Conquer
Series: The Transformers, Season 1
Rating: One and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp attack a weapons factory. Chip Chase calls in the Autobots, but Optimus Prime and Spike are the only ones close enough to respond in time. Optimus is then heavily damaged. To finish things off, Megatron sends Laserbeak to Autobot HQ. Now Optimus's only hope is in a team of Autobots, along with Chip, to get a part called a cosmatron... which is on Cybertron!
But not only does Megatron plan an attack on the Autobots, he's got a deadly surprise awaiting the team on Cybertron...

Mission Report:
This is one of my least favorite episodes. It's the whole Optimus-is-at-death's-door thing. Yeah, sure, I know he goes in the Transformers movie and then comes back in Season 3 (The Return Of Optimus Prime Parts 1-2), but it's not comfortable at the least! And they almost have you believing that OP is going to be a goner forever! Not comfortable!
The story is only average material (reason for half-ship). There were a few story glitches. Like, where did that extra Reflector-bot that went over the SpaceBridge come from?
And the Acid Rain Scenes made no real sense. How did the acid rain hit the Autobots' circuitry? They were well-plated and there had been no battles or injuries to suggest otherwise! And shouldn't have the acid rain done something to Chip and/or the cosmatron? That's something I'd always wondered. Oh, to top it off, if it affected the Autobots, why didn't it affect the Decepticons activating the acid-rain storm? YEESH...!
This is nowhere near my favorite episode list!

Roll For It

Episode Name: Roll For It
Series: The Transformers, Season 1
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
After a failed mission that represents Starscream's inability to lead, Megatron begins "Operation Anti-Matter"... invading a lab with the anti-matter formula! The Autobots soon know of this, partly because their new friend Chip Chase was a major player in discovering the formula.
But things get dangerous when Chip Chase is sent the formula, and the Decepticons find out and kidnap him!
And if Megatron gets the formula, the equation won't end with good news for the Autobots...

Mission Report:
I like this episode better. There are some minor story glitches, but the episode's more enjoyable.
Sorry for the lame review.
Anyway, I really like this episode. It's good!

Transport To Oblivion

Episode Name: Transport To Oblivion
Series: The Transformers, Season 1
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
It was believed that the Decepticons were defeated permanently. But the Autobots learn otherwise when Megatrons and the Decepticons attack a power plant! Then, on a spying mission, Bumblebee and Spike discover that the Decepticons have invented a SpaceBridge and are trying to figure out how to send Energon Cubes to Cybertron over it. And they're discovered spying!
Megatron's playing with Bumblebee's memory may cause the Autobots their lives...

Mission Report:
This is not one of my faves. I blame it totally on the scene where Megs alters Bee's memories using a wire-gizmo thingie in his chest. It personally gives me the creeps... I don't know why. It just wasn't enjoyable.
The story needs work. It has a few glitches in it. Like, the Test Run #2 scene is confusing. If they needed to stall for time, couldn't they have done something else? And how in the world did Shockwave call Megatron on Earth? Did Megatron steal his own computer off of Nemesis? It's the only way where Shockwave knowing Megatron's "number" makes sense.
And, I know they needed it for the series, but why wasn't the Ark flying or working, or... something! They made it looked fixed in the end of the three-parter, and now it's broke again. I know it was for the series, but annoying all the same! That's only a few of the glitches, but you get the general idea.
The good thing I could say is that it wasn't total trash. There was some enjoyment, but this was not my favorite episode.
This is a so-so episode.

Prince Of Wails

Episode Name: Prince Of Wails
Series: Sliders, Season 1
Rating: Three And A Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
This time, the gang lands in the British States of America. Everywhere is ruled by a monarchy, and this Dimension's Prof. Arturo is a Sheriff... an evil sheriff that wants to take over the crown! When the gang saves the Prince from assassination, they gang up with a bunch of revolutionaries.
Things are going to get troublesome...

Mission Report:
I wondered when this episode would come along. It seemed pretty natural that in this series would come an episode about if the American Revolution was lost.
But the episode could have been done better. The idea was good, but the story needs some work. And the enjoyment level wasn't the highest. And the extra romances? Not so sure that was a good idea...
While the episode wasn't trash, it's not my top fave either, though slightly better than a few others I've seen in the series.

More Than Meets The Eye Parts 1-3

Episode Names: More Than Meets The Eye Parts 1-3
Series: The Transformers, Season 1 (classic [Gen-1], 1984)
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
On another planet named Cybertron live a race of living robots that can transform into vehicles. But for many years, war has raged between the evil Decepticons and the peace-loving Autobots, and it drains Cybertron of its energy, almost to the death point.
The leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime, takes his crew on a space journey to find energy so they can save the universe and Cybertron. The leader of the Decepticons, Megatron, follows along and attacks the Autobots. The end result is that they crash into a mountain on an unknown planet.
4 million years later, the mountain that's really a volcano explodes, and the war begins again... on our home planet, Earth! Megatron wishes to drain it of its energy to revitalize Cybertron and take over the universe. The Autobots, along with their two new human friends Sparkplug and Spike Witwicky, with to stop them.
Will the Autobots succeed, or will evil win the day?

Mission Report:
This is the three-parter that started it all. Cool, huh? And a nice thing is that my DVD allows me to watch them seamlessly, like a movie! Nice...!
The story needs some work. There were multiple story glitches. Most were minor. Like, Megatron somehow knew that this was Earth. Okay, now we've seen Beast Wars, so we could try to explain it by saying that Megatron's Spark was in his future... um... protoge (sp?), and the information somehow downloaded. Now, that's unlikely (but the best I got), and Beast Wars didn't exist back then. So, story glitch. There were quite a couple others, but, like I said, most were minor and just annoying, but there were some bigger ones (but not overly major).
A bigger glitch is more toward series-wise. During this three-parter, it's obvious that the Decept' army is bigger than the group we learn to know during the rest of Season 1 and 2. What happened to them? I'm happy they stuck to a smaller group, because I'm not the greatest with big crowd shows, but I'd still like to know!
To make up for this, the episodes were very enjoyable (like Megatron panicking!) and the action scenes were very well-done. This is what re-earned the extra Spaceship.
These episodes also includes one of my favorite Megatron lines. In the very end, when Starscream is targeting the (strangely, story glitch) defenseless Megatron, Megatron warns him, "Beware, Starscream! If you dispose of me, there will always be someone waiting to dispose of you!" How true! I've always enjoyed that line, because it's right, at least in the Decepticon world! LOL!
But this three-parter also has a scene in which I believe Starscream was right about something! He got in trouble for testing the Energon Cubes. Now, it sounds like the Energon Cubes have never been tested before. I actually think Starscream was right in testing the Energon Cubes. It's one of those things worth testing.
So, while this could have been done better, this was still a good way to start the Transformers mania that was to last for decades, and still continues!

Alienated

Episode Name: Alienated
Series: Eureka, Season 1
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Deputy Jo (maybe spelled Joe, but using most likely version) goes to quiet down a movie-a-thon. She joins them in watching the hacked movie, They Came To Conquer. But the next day, the "leader" of this "party", Henri's assistant Spencer, is found hurt and dazed in something like a crop circle, and believes that aliens have invaded! Meanwhile, the Congressman Faraday is visiting Eureka, to discuss funding. But he has more sinister notions.
People start disappearing, mainly the guys in the movie-a-thon! Things are about to get dangerous...
Does a malfunctioning weapon have to do with it, or have aliens really invaded the Earth?

Mission Briefing:
Finally, something off the three-Spaceship meter! The story was good and pretty enjoyable, though I am disappointed that there were no aliens. Everything made sense in the end, of course, but I was getting ready for the show to go really into the sci-fi genre, but then it turns out to be something else. Yeesh...
And we're getting more into the hidden enemy. I still have no idea who it is, but the Congress guy's in it, as well as the... mind-doctor is probably not a nice term for it, but I have no idea how to spell it, so no offense meant at all to those of that profession! (Physcaitrist... sp?). Anyway, we "see" what they want (this time). Sure, it was the reflection in a radioactive protection suit, but awesome anyway. I think they said it was made on Earth, but I wasn't sure (I'm not a total techie, despite loving science and Transformers). I wish that they had made it more clear during the episode.
Anyway, it was a pretty good show, and I was glad to have a better episode come my way at last.

Nemesis Parts 1-2

Episode Name: Nemesis Parts 1-2
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 3
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
The end of the Beast Wars is nigh. With no home to go to, Optimus preps for an attack, and Megatron looks for a final card. He finds the Nemesis, the most powerful Decepticon spaceship ever... the very spaceship that shot down the Ark! With this, the Beast Wars will come to an end. But will the Predacons be the winners...
Or the losers?

Mission Report:
VERY nice ending to the series! The episode was enjoyable and the story very nicely well done. They did make a mistake... they forgot that Megatron has his namesake's Spark in him! ARG! But the rest of the story was very good and well-done. Dinobot sort of came back in his clone, the action was awesome, we see another oldie-object from Gen-1, and humans, though primitive, kicking Predacon butt for a time! They even gave Waspinator, the pitiful and funny Predacon (who quit in these episodes), a happy ending!
Once again, the reason for a lost Spaceship is personal beliefs and tastes. They showed the Transformers' "Bible" in this one, and were continuing quoting it. The part that ticked me off? They quoted the actual Bible a few times partly as bad jokes!!! AT LEAST ONCE!! Man, I'm a Transformer-lover, and that's not likely to change in a long, long time, but I am ticked at these episodes for that! And guess who quoted? Yep, MEGATRON! They might have lost a few Christian fans due to this. Not me yet, but they got me ticked for these two episodes...
Ignoring that fact, the episodes were still very good and enjoyable. There were a few story flaws, but other than those, the Beast Wars ended with a bang! A good bang!
This was a very nice way to end the Beast Wars Transformers series.

Beast Wars, I am happy to say that you were a welcome, very good, and super-fun addition to the Transformers universe! Congrats! Farewell... at least until I re-watch you! LOL!

Added Note About Review Blog:
My computer says that this is post number 100! Awesome! Hope you stick with me! See you!

Other Victories

Episode Name: Other Victories
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 3
Rating: Three and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Finally, we learn the names of the Aliens! They are known as the Vok, and they're ticked with Megatron. They send... um... I'm not sure, it has something to do with Tigatron and Airraiser... named Tigerhawk! Things are going to rumble badly, especially since Tarantulas wants Tigerhawk for himself...

Mission Report:
Tonight was not my Beast Wars night. This wasn't too great an episode. The Vok are ugly skull-thingies that remind me of the Quintessons. Not to mention that they're creepy too! More skulls than anything else! Yeesh!
At least Tigatron and Airraiser are back... sort of. I think they've merged into Tigerhawk.
That was the big story problem. I don't get what Tigerhawk is. The story was jumbled, and didn't make sense. Did the bodies get merged? I believe the Sparks did, but nothing was clear.
It was nice watching the Pred Base blow, and them finally remembering that Sentinel was installed in Pred Base. And I believe Tarantulas is gone for good this time! YAY! Finally... they made up their minds about this! Oh, and Megatron wears a judge's wig in the beginning... *giggle*...
And the rest of the story, the parts not concerning Tigerhawk and his origin and what-he-is, was pretty good and enjoyable.
This won't be my favorite, but at least it was more enjoyable than the last one.

Master Blaster

Episode Name: Master Blaster
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 3
Rating: Three and A Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Optimus Primal has been taken over! During an amusing Waspinator distraction, Tarantulas bugs Optimus with a bug-thingie that allows Quickstrike to control Optimus. Megatron manages to get into the Ark due to this, and manages to merge his Spark with the original Megatron's. But treachery makes things dangerous, like the everything-in-danger kind!
And it's up to Blackarachnia to save the day... and the Beast Wars Megatron might not be so dead...

Mission Report:
Okay, Tarantulas is an idiot! If he had succeeded in destroying his Megatron, the Megatron of the past would have died, meaning no Decepticons, meaning no Preds, meaning "bye-bye" universe! IDIOT!
Okay, I've done that yelling. To reviewing the actual episode. This will not hit my favorite list. I thought at first that it was another "Berserker Optimus" episode like Gorilla Warfare. And then it was an "Optimus-took-over" episode! That was not enjoyable! Sure, it was a little fun hearing Quick's cowboy talk through OP, but then it stops. This episode reminded me of a Gen-1 episode called Attack Of The Autobots with the same thing (except it was most of the Autobot army, including Optimus Prime). Yeah, I didn't care for it either.
The story was pretty good, however. It was well-done, but not the greatest for enjoyment. There was one big flaw/question (other than what I yelled about), however. It centers on the original Megatron's Spark. It Beast Wars Megatron going to give back his namesake's Spark? He's going to have to, right? Or else what I was yelling at Tarantulas at above. Is he? That was never clear, and I'd rather be clear! There were a confusing part near the end as well.
It was fun seeing the original Megatron in CGI however!
And "Dragon-tron"... fun!
This won't be my favorite episode, but it didn't bomb the place either.

Crossing The Rubicon

Episode Name: Crossing the Rubicon
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 3
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Blackarachnia is trying to make herself a Transmetal. Unluckily, Silverbolt manages to interrupt one of her experiments. This causes damage in her Predacon programming shell-thing, and that damage will cause her to go insane and then blank! The only way to stop this is to remove the Pred-gramming (lol). But this is a delicate process, so anything goes wrong, good-bye Black! It's no help that the Preds come a-blasting...
But if something goes wrong, who will stop Silverbolt?

Mission Report:
This was a pretty good episode. The ending was slightly confusing (like, did Black's programming go to Maximal, or did she just join up?). And I'm no fan of coming-back-from-the-dead things. Yeah yeah, I know, I got wild when Optimus Primal came back. This one bugged me, though.
And Silverbolt going "Predacon"... again, a little more in character. Not as much, but it was disturbing all the same. Very "human", however. And I'm going to have to get used to the new Black... she's still hot, but wow...
Anyway, despite having some downer points, this show was still pretty good overall.

Go With The Flow

Episode Name: Go With The Flow
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 3
Rating: Three and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Cheetor and Rattrap start the day by teaching the two primitive-human children (the ones we met before in Cutting Edge). Megatron captures the girl to use in his plan of making a disruptor ray. Organics are the only ones who can survive the effect.
Rattrap and Depthcharge go to rescue her, but what about that ray?

Mission Review:
The kids must have been popular. They're back, and have names! The girl's Una and the boy's Jack. Even I kind of enjoy them... yes, they're primitive humans, so not my favorites, but they are cute and enjoyable.
Back to reviewing. The story wasn't the best (and not all of it was because of Una and Jack!). It was only average material at the beginning. Once the kidnapping happens, though, it got better and more enjoyable. There were more jokes, part of them Megatron trying to tell Una what to do! That was fun!
So, once you get past the beginning, it was a pretty good show.

Added Note:
They changed Cheetor's voice back to normal! Yay!

Proving Grounds

Episode Name: Proving Grounds
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 3
Rating: Four and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
When Blackarachnia believes that she hears Rhinox and Optimus planning to wipe her programming core, she takes a hike. Unluckily, TM2 (Transmetal II) Dinobot* follows her. A dangerous game starts being played, one that Blackarachnia is loosing!
Silverbolt flies to the rescue, but will it be in time?

Mission Report:
This might be one of my favorites. I can understand Black's prob... I don't exactly want to loose myself either! Plus, what will happen to my favorite kind-of ex-Pred girl's character if that happens? It's why I like her! :)
The story was well done. There was one flaw, however. I thought that the agreement was that the Maximals were going to leave the core alone! That's what I got out of Rhinox and Optimus's discussion. And then it was taken as something else, and shown as "true". Luckily, I was right, but the feeling of confusion wasn't helpful. And there was some minor confusion when everyone was explaining why this and that. The story was good otherwise, however!
Anyway, I liked the story and enjoyed this episode.

*Oh why, oh why didn't they give TM2 Dinobot another name?!?

Added Note:
Good news: Cheetor's personality is still the same! YAY!

Feral Scream Parts 1-2

Episodes Names: Feral Scream Parts 1-2
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 3
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Megatron steals a stasis pod like usual, but his plan's different this time around... using adjusted alien tech, he has made a second level of the Transmetal... Transmetal II! He makes a Transmetal II clone of Dinobot.
Cheetor and Depthcharge come along to stop the machine. Cheetor manages to, but he is caught inside the still-active machine, causing an explosion. Everyone presumes Cheetor dead. But there is soon a mysterious monster on the loose, with a special taste for Predacons (but still wild)!
Does this creature have something to do with Cheetor and the explosion?

Mission Report:
Okay, a pretty good story. Cheetor's changed, though... at least his looks and voice! I'm not too clear whether or not his character has changed. I hope not... I like him (despite this new crush-on-Blackarachnia thing)!
The story was pretty good. It was pretty well-done, and it seems to show that Cheetor and Optimus have a better relationship, like best-friends. Wasn't totally clear, but that was my impression of it. It was cool seeing Cheetor's room too... before it became trash.
Lost points for adjusted Dino-clone too. I liked the original Dinobot (mostly). Not only does it look weird, but this guy's character is not like his original. AND WHERE DOES MEGATRON GET THAT CLONING DNA OR WHATEVER? Seriously, this again...? At least the voice is different, so we know that this is not the same Dinobot as before.
Okay, back to reviewing. The story was pretty well-done, though it could have been done a little better. Adjusted characters didn't get big bonuses, especially since they weren't clear if Cheetor's character was changed. Silverbolt's jealous attitude and the Cheetor-Black crush not helpful either.
So, lost points, but this was still a pretty good mutli-parter.
...
Whoa... longest review ever!

Cutting Edge

Episode Name: Cutting Edge
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 3
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Mysterious cyber-raptors come of nowhere an attack a group of early-humans (yeesh! These folks again?). The Maximals come just in time, but the two kids are separated from the tribe. Optimus sends Blackarachnia and Cheetor to help the kids home.
But Megatron's got plans...

Mission Report:
Okay, Tarantulas (guessing that's how you spell the name for real) is back. Doesn't make so much sense, but I'm just going to presume that Megatron's giving him a second chance, like his namesake in Starscream's case.
Once again, lost points for the primitive man. And more lost points for Cheetor falling in love! YEESH!
But the story was still very good and enjoyable, even with "primitive man". The protect-the-humans motif is back. And the story was just enjoyable and well done... some points earned back!
This was a surprisingly good episode.

Changing Of The Guard

Episode Name: Changing Of The Guard
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 3
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Maximal Volcano HQ has defense problems. That's why Optimus sends Rattrap on an underwater mission to retrieve Sentinel, with Silverbolt as backup.
But it's going to soon be a contest between Maximals and Predacons, with Sentinel as the prize!

Mission Report:
This was better than the last episode. The story was very good. I expected it to be one thing, and they suddenly change to another! But it was still very good and enjoyable.
But there is one question I'm not getting. Sentinel is a Maximal program. Yet it worked perfectly for Megatron! Why didn't it fight back or something? Is that for a later episode? But why would a Maximal program work for Predacons? It doesn't make sense!
This was actually a very good show overall, however.

Deep Metal

Episode Name: Deep Metal
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 3
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
When the Maximal Depthcharge comes hunting for Protoform X, AKA Rampage, he accidently goes through a time portal-thingie and lands on past Earth. It also turns him into a Transmetal... at least, I think it did. Rampage senses his coming, and goes hunting for ray-bots named Depthcharge...
But Depthcharge is hunting as well...

Mission Report:
Ok, this episode could have been done a lot better. While it didn't totally bomb the place, it wasn't the best. The story was only average, and it wasn't totally enjoyable (though we could laugh when Inferno charged Maximal HQ). And I think the last couple of minutes were just plastered on for time wasting... there could have been a better way of doing what they did.
This wasn't my fave episode.

Optimal Situation

Episode Name: Optimal Situation
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 3 (1998)
Rating: Four and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Going off from where The Agenda left off, a new situation has arisen. Blackarachnia and Silverbolt manage to save Optimus Prime for now, putting the reality problem on stall. But Optimus Prime has to be saved, and Megatron won't stand down...

Mission Report:
YAY! This episode is pure relief. Sure, Optimus Primal changes again, but it's a face I actually know better [:)]. The universe is saved, and they got a new home and mission. And Silver and Black are together. :)... does anyone know how to make a heart emicon? LOL!
This was a very good way to start off the third Season. It was a very good show.

The Agenda Parts 1-3

Episode Name: The Agenda Parts 1-3
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
The wave caused by the moon-weapon destruction reaches Cybertronian space. Bad news is, the Preds pick it up first and make sure that the Maximals never get it. The Predacon Alliance sends a rebuilt Decepticon, Ravage, to get Megatron once and for all.
But Megatron's true purpose is finally revealed. It's an agenda started by his namesake from the 1980's series, when he entered a secret code in the Golden Disc. Plus, things are going on between Blackarachnia and Silverbolt.
Will this be the end of everything?

Mission Report:
Oh man, they sure took a risk with this Season ender! They could have either lost their jobs with the bad-ending-cliffhanger, or kept their folks even more tightly in. Considering there's one more Season, I can say the latter.
But to better news. I loved seeing the 1980's Decepticons in CGI. And, oh boy, has Ravage changed! He turns invisible, can talk... yeesh... at least his transformed mode is still the same! I am a little ticked with past-Megatron's voice in the recording. It sounds nothing like the 1980's guy! At the least, they could have someone trying to do an impression of that guy! But CGI 1980's Transformers... neat! And the Ark! Awesome!
The story was pretty well-done. I enjoyed the love relationship, and it's good to finally know what Beast Wars Megatron was up to. But the ending is what killed... excuse me, blew up a Spaceship. It's managed to yank me as well, so I want to see the next one to see if it really ended bad, though I had planned differently... lol!
This was a pretty good set of episodes (though a little lengthy...), but brace yourself for the ending! I'M NOT KIDDING!!!

Last Days

Episode Name: Last Days
Series: Sliders, Season 1
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
This time the gang lands on a Dimension doomed to die. An asteroid is on a direct collision course with Earth, and it will end in total annihilation. And the team can't slide until the day after the collision!
Arturo teams up with Bennish to make an atom bomb, which was never invented, to destroy the asteroid. Rembrandt joins an end-of-the-world party. Quin and Wade face their feelings for each other...

Mission Report:
Not my favorite, but it was better than the last one (Fever). The story was 'bout average and more enjoyable, but I did not like how they left off on a bad, the-Dimension's-still-doomed ending.
Still an okay episode, but not-so-good ending.

Transmutate

Episode Name: Transmutate
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
A stasis pod is discovered, but in an unstable condition. A highly-mutated (and damaged) protoform comes out. Rampage (Protoform X) makes a friendship with this creature, named Transmutate. Silverbolt also manages to care deeply about Transmutate. These two care deeply for Transmutate, though no one else seems to, but they are on opposite sides.
Will this problem cost them something very dear...?

Mission Report:
Oh man, strangely very good! The story was very well done. It was enjoyable to see Rampage care so deeply for someone. Transmutate was also very sweet and an enjoyable guy... err... gal... we were never sure on the gender. Transmutate seemed creepy when using his/her power most of the time, but the character... very nice. It's too bad he's gone now.
In a way, it shows a moral without really telling. When there's war, even the innocent and the most cared for suffer and/or die. I also loved Silverbolt's last line about him and the mourning Rampage, "For the moment... we are brothers." I may have gotten a word or two wrong, but that's the basic idea.
This was actually a very good show, and it may hit my favorite list due to content.

Code Of Hero

Episode Name: Code Of Hero
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Report:
The true power of the Golden Disc is finally shown in action. Megatron can now change the future! And his first step is to stop humanity from ever existing!
Dinobot is the only one to see this, and help will come too late. Dinobot, who has been troubled by questions of the future, finally gets his answers in a bad way. He goes to join the fight against every Predacon, alone...
Will it be too much for him?

Mission Report:
This review will be a little bit biased. I'm a Christian, one who believes that evolution is fake and God created the universe in a week (a creationist, to sum it up). The Transformers are taken from an evolutionist viewpoint. Most of the time, I don't care, and just enjoy the series. But this episode showed "early man", the ape-men (I was wondering where the humans were, though). It lost points for that... sorry 'bout that.
Yet the rest of the show was good. The story was pretty good. It was amazing to watch Dinobot at his max.
Then there's the ending. It's really the first true Transformer death in it. But it was very well done. It was both sad and beautiful. I think the "beautiful" kept me from crying. It's sad that Dinobot's gone, but the end was what he wished. And... oh man, I've said this too many times, but it was just beautiful.
This was actually a pretty good show.

Bad Spark

Episode Name: Bad Spark
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Cheetor discovers a huge stasis pod. Optimus Primal reveals it to be the failed Maximal experiment Protoform X, where the Maximals tried to copy Starscream's mutated Spark in a Maximal. Luckily, P-X seems dead...
But a Predacon attack causes an explosion and Energon storm. Silverbolt and Blackarachnia are stuck trying to get to a safe area in a jungle.
And Protoform X may not be so dead after all...

Mission Report:
This was a pretty good story. I wasn't very sure on what Protoform X was, however. Up above was my best guest. It was fun watching the relationship between Silver and Black, however. It's almost positive that they're having a love relationship... or coming very close...
While not my favorite like usual, this was a pretty good show. (hey, Black acted like a heroine sometimes!) :)

Other Visits Parts 1-2

Episode Name: Other Visits Parts 1-2
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
A new Alien location is discovered, right in Tigatron and Airraiser's path! But the troops come too late... an unknown plant sends them into space, possibly never to return.
When the Aliens return and set up a base/ship, Megatron manages to hack inside and take control (after stealing the Alien disc, of course).
Things have gotten dangerous...

Mission Report:
Two characters, gone! Just as we discover that there is a love relationship going on, good-bye Tigatron and Airraiser! Oh man... a good deal of lost points!
Otherwise, the story was pretty good, but this is not my favorite.

Maximal, No More

Episode Name: Maximal, No More
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Dinobot, now knowing the secrets of the golden discs, is unsure on the future. So much, in fact, that when is captured by the Predacons, he changes sides again!
Is there hope for the future...?

Mission Report:
Okay, this episode had me so worried. I started figuring it out from just the name, and then it looked like Dinobot was going to take a hike to the Predacon side! He's kind of likable... and I enjoy his and Rattrap's fights. :) I'm happy with how the end turned out, both unexpected and enjoyable.
The story was pretty good on this one, and the show was kind of enjoyable.
This was a pretty good show.

Tangled Web

Episode Name: Tangled Web
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Megatron sends Tarantulas, Blackarachnia, and Quickstrike to set up an refueling station But Tarantulas has a plan for treachery, and he convinces Quicksting to join him. Meanwhile, Blackarachnia has a plan for severing the mental connection binding her to Tarantulas.
But a little plan of Tarantulas, which he cancelled, leads Rattrap and Silverbolt to their cavern...

Mission Report:
Not bad! The story was pretty good and enjoyable. It could have been done better, but, hey, it could have been worse!
