Episode Name: Strange New World
Series: Star Trek Enterprise, Season 1
Rating: Four Spaceships
Mission Briefing:
The Enterprise crew discovers a planet much like Earth, though with no detectable life-forms. A team is sent to check it out, including Trip, Ethan, and T’Pol. They end up spending the night. A nasty windstorm kicks up, so nasty that a pod can’t come and rescue them!
And they need that rescue, because weird things are happening…
Mission Report:
This was a pretty episode overall. The story was good, and it was pretty enjoyable. It wasn’t tops, but it was pretty good overall. And made me wish that they used subtitles more! (). There was a good deal of Vulcan in there, though you don’t have to know the meaning of most of it.
And this shows that chronological order isn’t the great need… this was number 3, and I accidently watched it instead of 2! Here’s a hint for DVD users… the next episode is right of the first one, not below! (If you watch Burn Notice on DVD, the menus are built similar) Still, I was able to watch it and enjoy it. So, at least this episode shows that chronological order isn’t needed for all of them.
This series is doing ten times better than Next Gen! I enjoyed this episode, and I can stay I’m enjoying this series, which is pretty impressive for just having seen two episodes.
This was a pretty good episode too!
