Armada

Episode Name: Armada
Series: Transformers Prime, Season 2
Rating: Four and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
It's Traitor Day again! No one in the show looked up Triple Takeover*, but that ends up being the game! But there's more than that too...
Bulkhead is accidentally taken aboard the Nemesis after a checking-signal-out goes bad, but somehow stays undiscovered. Meanwhile, Starscream has found the Harvenger (sp?) again, and finds a lab with protoforms inside. Using these, he makes five clones of himself, which he sends off to kill Megatron.
Bulkhead wakes up aboard the Nemesis while the clones are about. He tries to contact his Base, which is unsuccessful, and instead unknowingly releases a signal which Airachnid picks up. Then Airachnid sends a bunch of her Insecticons after Megatron herself! The Autobots pick up the signals of the awakening troops, and go to stop Airachnid.
This "Traitor Day" will end up being more of a "Chaos Day"... and will everyone get out of the chaos alive?!?

Mission Report:
This was actually a very good show. It was very enjoyable, and somewhat amusing in some parts. There were some awkward parts and glitches which cost the show a half-Spaceship (for example: how did Bulkhead managed to stay undiscovered for so long?). However, it was a mostly enjoyable show.
All in all, this was a very good and enjoyable episode.

Grill

Episode Name: Grill
Series: Transformers Prime, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
It's the aftermath of Nemesis Prime, and Special Agent William Fowler's boss, General Bryce, has called for a meeting (which is being filmed by Private Dixon). He wants a summary of the whole Autobot-Decepticon thing... and different stuff. But Fowler's job is also at stake...
...and the whole mission of Team Prime!!!

Mission Report:
There's not much for story in this one. However, there is a good mini-story that was running throughout that was pretty good (and funny at the end).
This was basically a summary of the whole series up to this point. It sums up a ton of stuff, like who's who (mostly), and some different stuff. However, it was a well-done summary episode... with many good scenes to go with their point (though there were some I feel like could have been done better, with different scenes, and there was one point where I feel felt they could have spend up [the scene between the face-off-and-Jack's choice in Rock Bottom, where Megatron is stuck]). And the mini-story going through the whole thing was good and well-done. I feel like, however, this is a good episode for someone just jumping into the series... a very good summary episode!
Now, it wasn't the most enjoyable. There were some points I was a little bored. But mostly not... it was very well-done episode, especially one meant for a summary!
Oh, and there's actually a classic reference... again, this might just be coincedence (sp?), but it's highly interesting anyway. The dude who was filming Fowler and Bryce (cool to see him for the first time) was named Private Dixon. There's a side-character by that exact name and rank in Thief In The Night*, at the scene where it was discovered that Fort Knox was gone! That name-reference/coincedence (sp?) was very cool!
So, all in all, this was a very good summary/for-new-people episode!

Nemesis Prime

Episode Name: Nemesis Prime
Series: Transformers Prime, Season 2
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
There's a fake Optimus Prime about! First Fowler is almost driven off the road by a Prime-almost-look-alike, and then the same "Prime" attacks a military base! The only government to get any of this is Agent Fowler, who was within the sight of the real Prime during the base attack!
What's the explanation? MECH! They have finally built a Transformer, and Silas is in remote-control of the fake Prime (dubbed "Nemesis Prime", first by Miko then everyone else). The Autobots have an obvious problem... especially since the government is now gunning for them!!!
Will the day end okay?

Mission Report:
Now, not in the least bit confusing. Not like the last episode! But it had its glitches. Like, how where they able to make Prime's face on Nemesis? And how come no one noticed the different colors on Nemesis? How did the Autobots and others know it was MECH who made Nemesis? Oh, and how did MECH get Silas out of the mess? Did people get killed in the military base attack (most likely... Silas had up-close-and-personal aim, though luckily nothing was seen thanks to the "comercial [sp?] break black-out" they put where the comercial [sp?] break in DVDs... smart move for putting a comercial [sp?] there, folks!). At least they noticed the remote-controlling bit. At least that detail wasn't missed!!!
And I knew it was MECH for a bit before the Autobots, though they still knew too fast. Not exactly good in this case, since it caused more annoyance than suspense! In fact, the sudden knowing killed any suspense in that scene. Not good!
We got some back-story... okay, minimal back-story, but it was still interesting otherwise! And it was cool seeing Nemesis Prime take a martial arts stance during the Prime VS Prime battle, even if it was only for a few seconds.
And it wasn't the most enjoyable. And the story needs tweaking, though it didn't totally stink. It wasn't bad... just not great either. And I sense an Autobot Spike*-like episode coming on eventually, thanks to the ending of that episode... I may be wrong, but that was the impression I got.
All in all, this is only an average show.

Crossfire

Episode Name: Crossfire
Series: Transformers Prime, Season 2
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Megatron has had enough of Airachnid's treachery! He orders her death... to be accomplished by Breakdown and Dreadwing. However, it is a failed attempt, and Breakdown dies in the effort (and body is promptly stolen by MECH, but minor fact to the story). So Airachnid runs off, injured, but finds an Insecticon! With the help of Starscream, she makes a plan to kill Megatron.
But Starscream manages to get away when Airachnid tries to get her bug-bot to kill him. He sends the Autobots after her. And Megatron goes after Airachnid when she sends a challenge ("invitation" in Airachnid's words).
Things are going to get complicated...

Mission Report:
...if they weren't already!!! This episode was confusing. I was never sure on the why and what-the-heck-was-going-on! It does bring up an interesting mystery... how did the Insecticons get on Earth, and why?!? That will be interesting to see what happens and how the mystery is confirmed.
It's nice to see a classic in effect again. Now, we saw an Insecticon in Orion Pax Parts 1-3, but I thought it was only for that time. But it's nice to see them to be coming back again.
And to keep the good things going, I kind of liked the battle between Megatron and Insecticon. It was kind of fun to see those two keep each others' hinny (sp?; though it was admittedly weird). And it's nice to see that Optimus isn't the only one who can give Megatron an even battle.
And it was cool seeing Airachnid's new power. It reminded me of Blackarachnia in Transformers Animated... specifically, the episode Black Friday. Airachnid's controlling the Insecticon reminded me of Blackarachnia controlling the Dinobots, though the situations and ways were different. It was still interesting though.
But the episode was confusing! I was having trouble keeping up, and I wasn't always sure what the heck was going on. And I thought that MECH was going to have a bigger part (though I'm not totally disappointed that they didn't). It's annoying that the "promise" was made, but never acted upon, except for explaining a minor detail (though I will give them points for that!). And I'm not so happy that Breakdown is gone. I know it's war, and people die in wars, but I'll miss him a little.
But the main problem is that the episode was confusing! Now this is an episode that needs work on the story! Now, it had its good bits (it still got 3 Spaceships, after all) and some parts weren't so confusing. But it was confusing, and had its glitches. It only scored 3 Spaceships in enjoyment.
All in all, this was only an okay show that needs work on its storyline.

Loose Cannons

Episode Name: Loose Cannons
Series: Transformers Prime, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Wheeljack's back! But there's a new Decepticon along this time too... Skyquake's twin, Dreadwing! And I don't just mean their almost-identical looks, morals, and devout loyalty to Megatron! Dreadwing's Skyquake's twin bro... and he wants revenge for his brother's death!!!
Wheeljack, unluckily, is a loose cannon, and gets in trouble because the Autobots have to be Robots In Disguise. And he's not so hot about Optimus or taking orders either. And he wants revenge too... Dreadwing killed a different Wrecker named Seaspray right near Wheeljack, and the living Wrecker wants vengeance!
A battle is coming... against the orders of both Optimus Prime and Megatron. Bulkhead is brought into the mix. And Optimus will end up tagging along...
Will everyone survive the day?

Mission Report:
Nice to have Wheeljack back! And it's also nice to hear yet another classic reference... Seaspray! Too bad he's dead, though... and Dreadwing is a nice touch. It puts a nice "Skyquake" into the mix without having Skyquake.
The story was pretty good. It was enjoyable. And it was pretty well-done... though some of the Wheeljack moments had me confused. It mixed up what I had learned about him as a character. I learned some more, but it was still confusing. And the nice tibbit of lore (the data on what the Wreckers were) was a nice touch!
However, there were glitches. Like Dreadwing's statement at the end. Megatron looked a little confused, and I'm with him! Maybe it was on purpose... but it was confusing all the same. And before that... why did Dreadwing decide to defuse the bomb in the end? Confusing, confusing, confusing... And there were a few others, but those are examples.
However, it was still an enjoyable episode. It was a good one for Wheeljack's return, and the implementing of Dreadwing. I just think it could have been done better in the story-writing, especially near the end.
All in all, this was an enjoyable episode. Welcome back, Wheeljack... hope the rest of your Earth-adventures are just as good, and maybe even better!

Operation: Bumblebee, Parts 1-2

Episode Names: Operation: Bumblebee, Parts 1-2
Series: Transformers Prime, Season 2
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Megatron's using the data he tricked Orion Pax into getting! He's collecting very powerful weapons that were once hidden in the Iacon Vaults. Bumblebee actually successfully rescues one from the Decepticon's grasp at the beginning.
But then the Autobot speedster falls into a trap set by MECH. And they steal an important part of his bio-machinery: his T-Cog (what was previously known as a transformation cog in the Gen-1 [1980's] series), the organ which allows him to scan vehicles and then transform! (reveal later: allows weapon usage too)! And, since it's an organ (like Bumblebee's broken voicebox), the Autobots can't just build another one!!!
The Autobots begin a search for the T-Cog. Meanwhile, Bumblebee has to deal being stuck, Ratchet is plagued by issues from the past relating to Bumblebee, and all the while everyone has to deal with Megatron and his collection project. Oh, and to boot, Starscream has made an alliance with MECH, who seem to be trying to make their own Transformer!
Will everything turn out okay in the end...?

Mission Report:
The first MECH episodes that I have liked! That's a good thing!!!
Anyway, this was a good set of episodes. The story was actually well-done, though admittedly not the best. It was enjoyable, and had lots of jokes and funny situations! I like where Silas says, "Don't you ever not talk?", or something close, to Starscream, then walks off, and then Starscream continues talking to a MECH soldier (who promptly runs off to join his leader)! That was awesome!
And there were multiple classic references! Ratchet, in his interrupted-stasis-still-awakening-daze, mentions a Fuzor (Beast Wars)! And the rescued weapon in the beginning was a Spark Extractor, which is pretty much a modern and much-smaller version of a machine in the Beast Machine Transformers series (which I will not be reviewing)!
And I liked how the Decepticon element was twisted in! That was well-done, and made the episode enjoyable! It made the episode better! Way to go, guys!!!
And we got some lore! And back-stories! And some looks into different characters... especially somewhat of a view into Bumblebee, which it can be difficult when only Raf understands what he's saying
There were glitches. Like it wasn't instantly clear (though I got it after a minute) what Optimus meant by "That's not the only thing Ratchet fixed today.", right at the end. Though it was a well-done set of episodes... just had its share of glitches.
All in all, this is the first good and enjoyable set of MECH episodes that I've seen... and definitely the first I've actually liked!

Orion Pax Parts 1-3

Episodes Names: Orion Pax Parts 1-3
Series: Transformers Prime, Season 2
Rating: Four and a Half Guitars

Mission Briefing:
After the hoedown with Unicron, Optimus Prime once again became Orion Pax. Megatron has a new mission... to use Orion, as his new archivist (formally an Iacon archivist), to decrypt a bunch of encrypted files stolen from Iacon during the war.
Meanwhile, the Autobots are a bit out of sorts without Optimus. But their only hope is with Jack, the Key of Vector Sigma, and Vector Sigma itself. A few problems... Jack's bio-signature has been imprinted (since he was chosen by a Prime), only those chosen by Primes (or are Primes), can use Vector Sigma, and Vector Sigma is on Cybertron!!! And Orion is starting to wake up, despite Megatron's lies...
Will the day end up okay in the end?

Mission Report:
WOW!
Yep, that's what I got to say. WOW! Oh, and here's an altered quote from my blog...
OPTIMUS PRIME'S BACK!!!
Okay, to actual reviewing. I'm highly impressed with the special effects here. I mean, Insecticons, Vector Sigma, Cybertron, Optimus/Orion looking so... young. That was all just very well done!
And the story... wow! Excellent! Now, admittedly, there were some glitches here or there. One big one was the sudden lack of undead on Cybertron. However, I feel like that is a good glitch... I'm not a huge fan of zombies, despite my WOW Forsaken character.
Another glitch is the whole "Space Bridge Report" scene. Special Agent Fowler's "how are you" slip, though admittedly a bit amusing, shouldn't have rolled by so easily... though it was lucky it did. Still, something felt very off on that scene.
And they should not only make the passage of time clearer, but also they should be clearer on how much of Optimus's memories came back! It was annoying!
And there were uncomfy (sp?) moments... like when the Vehicon (purple Decepticon army dudes that are everywhere) guards were beating Orion up. And where human tanks blew... admittedly, Fowler said that there were injured, not dead, but here's another glitch... I would have actually liked to know if any humans were killed. That wasn't clear. And if they were dead, it's a moments that also goes into the extremely uncomfy (sp?) scenes.
But the rest was very good. I have to tip off my hat to this Megatron... his plan was almost as sneaky, smelly, and well-done as his 1980's counterpart in Megatron's Master Plan Parts 1-2. And many of the reactions in this show felt real... the characters shown pretty well (though Megatron [and Breakdown in the "Space Bridge Report" scene] was iffy in some moments). One thing rolled to another like it should, and things were shown later, and obvious conclusions happened like you expected, making them more enjoyable. And the suspense was in the right moments, and had me "yelling" at the right moments.
Oh man... I tip my hat off to the writers of this episode! They did an amazing job! Very amazing and well-done!
All in all, the second Season of Transformers Prime starts off very well with a set of very well-done episodes!!!

Secret Santa

Episode Name: Secret Santa
Series: Warehouse 13, Season 3*
Rating: Four and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
It's Christmastime at the Warehouse! Pete and Myka plan a Christmas with their families. But, like usual... an Artifact interrupts things.
There's a Santa on the loose, causing trouble for a businessman. Pete and Myka go to help out, but things may get dangerous...
Meanwhile, Claudia works on getting Artie and his father back together, with the help of her brother Josh, which will provide difficulties on its own...
Will this be a merry Christmas in the end?

Mission Report:
Yet another awesome episode! The story was well-done and pretty enjoyable (the Artie/Father storyline was a little awkward and less enjoyable, but still well-done). Both stories were good and well-done, and enjoyable. And I loved seeing the old theme song (taken out in Season 3 for whatever reason) and the commercial-break-alerters done in Christmas style... it was cool!
This is definitely one of my favorite Warehouse 13 episodes!

*This episode was an extra that was included in the Season 3 DVD box.

Stand

Episode Name: Stand
Series: Warehouse 13, Season 3
Rating: Three and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Walter Sykes's endgame is nigh! He has discovered a possible secondary entry into the Warehouse. Everyone's brought into this. But it's not just the Collodi Bracelet he's after... and that means the question is... will the Warehouse survive?
Will all the people we know survive?

Mission Report:
There were very enjoyable parts. And there were some not-so-enjoyable parts. The story was very well-done, though it's sorry that H.G. Wells had to go. And, in some small way, Mrs. Fredrick. And it did have some glitches in it.
And I'm sure there was A Prime Problem twist. They wanted to blow the Warehouse up, and play with its footage. So here we are... blowing-up Warehouse footage to go with the storyline! Now, they may have just been going on with the storyline, but A Prime Problem is what came to mind when the Warehouse was blowing up. You know, the classic 1980's episode I was sure that they were using as an excuse to blow a Starscream up? But I will say that said explosion scenes were very well-done. I was impressed with how well-done they were done, special effects and all.
And it has a cliffhanger! I was never very fond of those. Though I get the get-people-to-continue-the-series trick.
All in all, this is not my fave episode. It was only so-so, though it had some good moments and good special effects.

Emily Lake

Episode Name: Emily Lake
Series: Warehouse 13, Season 3
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
The bugs--nanites (sp?)--are finally discovered. The investigation ends up with finding a Regent file. Claudia hacks into the file, and Myka and Pete soon discover Emily Lake... who's a perfect match for H.G. Wells! Except for mental files, of course... and Steve's in this mix too...
Sykes is getting his endgame nigh...

Mission Report:
Sorry for the lame summary.
This was only an average enjoyment. They finally made up their mind about Steve... and not in a good way. Killing him in the end was not good! At least he died a good guy...
The story was pretty well-done. There were glitches, of course.
All in all, this episode only hit average... not good, but not bad either.

Note:
This episode is actually after Insatiable, which will never be reviewed. Apologies for this.

Shadows

Episode Name: Shadows
Series: Warehouse 13, Season 3
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Pete is trying to handle the fact that his mom's a Regent. And she's trying to remember when she last heard of A to Z Tech, the company who hired Sally. Things will go a little whacky on their own...
Meanwhile, Myka and Claudia are sent to investigate a ping. People are disappearing in Portland in a mysterious flash of light, while the power in cars and buildings go out and lights explode. A weird "shadow" of black stuff is left behind. They discover a girl who's acting weird, but she isn't the culprit... and Myka suspects a nuclear Artifact!
Will things go okay, or will things go truly nuclear?

Mission Briefing:
Yeah, I try for puns.
But things are back to normal! Warehouse 13 has left the super-dark and disturbing tone of The 40th Floor, and I'm happy about it! YAY!
Now, to reviewing. Again, the primary focus of the episode, the Stalker's Nuclear Artifact storyline, was better than the other one. But I will say that both were good. Even in the Mom's Memories storyline, it was good and well-done, around average. And watching Pete learn a lesson was kind of cool. To top it off, we also learn who the new enemy of the Warehouse is (though I've once again forgotten the name... sorry!).
To the Stalker's Nuclear Artifact storyline's review. Again, this was a pretty good and well-done story. Not my fave, it hit really only just about higher than average. But it was pretty well-done, though there were some slightly confusing moments... that usually made more sense later. It was only above average in enjoyment, though... and there were some uncomfortable moments.
Oh, and we get to learn Mrs. Fredrick's first name... Irine (sp?)!
And we see Tray again! Cool!
All in all, while it's a super-relief from The 40th Floor, this episode was only about average.

The 40th Floor

Episode Name: The 40th Floor
Series: Warehouse 13, Season 3
Rating: One Spaceship

Mission Report:
OH MAN! This episode was so bad, I'm not even bothering to do the Briefing!
It was highly disturbing. I can't say how well the story was made, because it extremely freaked me out! There were too many direct deaths. Like, we saw them! The good special effects have usually been a good point in Warehouse 13's favor, but this one made it an extreme downer! And how Mrs. Fredrick was acting... down-down-downer! Oh, and taking out Steve? Not a good idea... I liked him!
Oh, the FBI spy's name was Sally, not Helen. Sorry about the confusion.
Anyway, the only semi-good thing was the surprise at the end, where Miss New Guardian (Jane, I believe), turns out to be Pete's mom!!! Fun surprise for last second. But I'm not sure how good that was, except for a good cliffhanger.
I hate this episode... it's joining the first two Elite Guard Trilogy episodes, Megatron's Master Plan Parts 1-2*, The Probe**, Black Friday***, and all those other One-Spaceships and extreme hate episodes! Welcome to the bottom of the list, pal!
In conclusion, this is my least favorite Warehouse 13 episode ever! Okay, up to now, but this episode is NEVER EVER going to be a fave...

Past Imperfect

Episode Name: Past Imperfect
Series: Warehouse 13, Season 3
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
During a mission to get an Artifact in Denver, Myka gets a glimpse of Leo, her partner Sam's killer. He's back in action... Myka and Pete team up with Myka's old Denver Secret Service team to capture him once more.
Meanwhile, Claudia and Steve just nabbed an Artifact... only to be knocked out, and have the Artifact stolen! The only witness was a dog. Artie's got some idea how to get the info from the dog. That's just going to be plain whacky, and who knows what will happen...?
How will the day end?

Mission Report:
YES! They're finally seeing the FBI spy (I think her name's Helen, from the driver's license in the show) for her true colors! It happens at the way end, but it's nice all the same.
But to reviewing. Neither show was overly enjoyable. It was neither bad or good. It was just... average. It wasn't overly exciting. To be honest, there were some more exciting parts, but it was only an average show overall.
And the story was only averagely done. I think they were messing with series details. The impression I got from Sam in the earlier episodes that he was more similar to present-day Pete, and this episode told us that it was the reverse... Myka was the second "Pete", and Sam was the other "Myka". With certain differences, of course, but those are the closest.
But this was another good chance to see how well the actor playing Myka (again, apologies, but I just don't know your real name) is. She's very good. The wilder, more emotional Myka seemed pretty believable. I mean, I think we all felt like Pete, where we were too used to the old Myka, and it was hard to believe that she was once like this. But the actor did a good job portraying this Myka, since it was a pretty believable act.
All in all, this was only an average show... though it was good to see the scarab again, and it's nice that we have a dog (named Tray [sp?]) in the house... or should I say WARE-house? LOL!*

*Or, at least I think so... it does seem like Tray is sticking around, though.

Don't Hate The Player

Episode Name: Don't Hate The Player
Series: Warehouse 13, Season 3 (Eureka Crossover)
Rating: Four and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
It's a normal, boring day. But then Claudia gets an emergency call from a business partner of Fargo's... turns out Fargo is stuck in a virtual reality game (based on Warehouse 13) he was working on! And guess what he was using to fix a game problem? That's right... an Artifact! And things are getting wacky and dangerous... so much so, that he and his other partner (also stuck in the game, not the caller) may die! Pete and Claudia hop into the game as well to save these two, but things may get more dangerous, since we are talking about an Artifact usage...
Meanwhile, Artie and Steve go to get an Artifact, running into the FBI spy (sorry, can't remember the name). They have to steal the Artifact, but said FBI spy may cause trouble...
Is it "game over" for everybody?

Mission Briefing:
Okay, there are two major downers to this episode. Number 1: freaky scene with Claudia's fear. Number 2: the second storyline. The Steal-Van-Gogh (sp? on last one) Storyline was not a good storyline... it wasn't very enjoyable. And it was a little glitchy... I mean, they should have suspected something about her running off, even if she did come back! Oh, and shouldn't have Steve been able to tell she was lying? Glitchy...! Anyway, it wasn't very enjoyable.
BUT, very wisely, they didn't stick to that storyline very much. Again, Autoboot-Camp-like, but very, VERY wise!!!
The game storyline was purely awesome. The graphics could have been done better, though. Otherwise, though, this was a very awesome story. It was very enjoyable, and it was very well-done. Some of the jokes made sense, since it was based on Warehouse 13. And they remembered the Goo. You know... purple junk that "calms down" Artifacts? That element had minimized since the start of the show (like, it's there, but not talked about much and just accepted). The fact that it kind of came back was awesome. And elf-Claudia and gladiator Pete was cool. And Claudia's actually a good singer! Cool! But the whole jump-in-the-video-game thing (and seeing "fantasy" versions of the Warehouse) was totally awesome! And the story was good too!
So, despite the downer points, this is one of my fave Warehouse 13 episodes!

3... 2... 1...

Episode Name: 3... 2... 1...
Series: Warehouse 13, Season 3
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Again, that's the actual name of the episode, not a typo or whatever.
Joshua's Trumpet has popped up again. It has been on an adventure since H.G. Wells was a Warehouse 12 agent. But now it's causing mysterious deaths. Oh, and to make things worse, someone's making the Trumpet even louder. The Warehouse 13 agents have to call on the help of H.G. Wells herself... in a holographic form (transported and shown from a holo-ball).
Will the day be saved this time...?

Mission Report:
Okay, I'm telling you this now, but the fact that they mess up and basically twist a Biblical story is MINIMAL to loosing story points. But it still ticked me off!
But this was not Warehouse 13's shining moment. The story was only decent, in both enjoyment and making. There were too many flashbacks. And there were some moments that didn't make sense. And it was only average enjoyment.
This was an okay episode that needs a lot of tweaking.

Queen For A Day

Episode Name: Queen For A Day
Series: Warehouse 13, Season 3
Rating: Three and a Third Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
A surprising visitor shows up at Leena's B&B--Pete's ex-wife Amanda! Amanda has come to tell Pete that she's marrying again, and is here to pick up her grandfather's ring. But she accidentally takes part of an Artifact with her... a bee-thing that soon causes some major trouble at Amanda's wedding, especially when Pete and Myka come to the wedding to get the Artifact back!
Meanwhile, Claudia and Steve are after U.S. Grant's flask... at a civil war reenactment. Tricky! And to add to pressure, whoever drinks from the flask thinks he or she's really fighting the civil war.
Trouble's busy as a bee today...*

Mission Review:
Hmm... not the best, but not bad either. Like Autoboot Camp**,  there were two storylines, but they stayed with the most important. Wise choice! In fact, the "Flask-Reenactment" storyline seemed to me to be more of a learn-about-Steve and a Steve-and-Claudia-bonding thing. It wasn't my fave... just about average. Though I will say that the Mini Tessla (sp?) was awesome!
The "Wedding Queen Bee" storyline was much better. And they seemed to stay more with this one, and it was a good choice. It was pretty well-done, though I did not really care for the awkward scenes between Pete and Amanda. But it was pretty enjoyable... the lowest was just about average. Unluckily, there was a lot of average, though there were good moments, especially near the end (four-Spaceship enjoyment at highest).
This was a pretty good show, but could use some tweaking and isn't the most enjoyable.

Love Sick

Episode Name: Love Sick
Series: Warehouse 13, Season 3
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Artie's crush, Dr. Vanessa Calder, calls for help. There's an artifact turning women into clay, killing them in the process! Artie and Claudia go to help. They discover it's a virus... a computer virus! An Artifact is somehow allowing the virus to be transferred to humans, which then causes human DNA to be altered, turning people into clay. The old Warehouse computer expert, Hugo, has to be called, and it turns out that he and Vanessa had a thing once! But things will soon get deadly, threatening Hugo and Vanessa's life!
Meanwhile, Myka and Pete wake up in bed together... Artie's bed, specifically, and looking like they did the deed! And Steve is missing! But neither Pete or Myka can remmeber what happened (or whether or not they did the deed). And Myka has gone blonde to boot! The agents have to figure out what happened... and whether or not Steve's in trouble!
Will the agents save the day... and their friends' lives?

Mission Report:
This was a good episode. Both storylines were enjoyable. And both were very well-done. And we had our mysterious new enemies in the background... dun-dun-duh...! LOL!
And they're getting clever with the new "catch-up" scenes at the beginning. Now, I've seen the series up to here, but they're helpful reminders.
Anyway, this was a very good episode.

Trials

Episode Name: Trials
Series: Warehouse 13, Season 3
Rating: Three and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Myka’s back! Her first mission with Pete is to investigate a bunch of weird memory losses. These memory losses get worse and worse until death… and it’s all for murder scene victims! That is, until Pete’s affected… and Myka’s been bugged about something, and Pete (pre-memory-wipe) had been too…
Meanwhile, Claudia is sent on her first official mission (with Steve tagging along). It’s after a sickness-and-illness-transferring butcher knife... at an auction! Questions and Awkwardness will follow as well… not to mention the knife gets stolen!!!
Will everything end up well with these two cases?

Mission Report:
Hmm… just a little better than the average episode! The juggling of the two stories was pretty good. I like the Claudia/Steve/Artie storyline a little better. Yeah, maybe I have something about memory-wipes. But both were pretty good, and pretty well-done storylines. They just weren’t the most enjoyable.
But they were still good. They were still pretty enjoyable. There were some downer moments. But it was mostly good… average enjoyment was just the bottom level.
All in all, these episodes were pretty good, but it was only a little bit above average enjoyment.

The New Guy

Episode Name: The New Guy
Series: Warehouse 13, Season 3
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Everyone’s a little out of whack since Myka left. A new guy is brought in… Steve Jinks, a former ATF agent who can tell whether or not someone’s lying… after he witnesses an Artifact-grab. His first case is with Pete, and they are figuring mysterious deaths… that have a Shakespeare twist. They go to Myka to ask for help. Meanwhile, the rest of the team is having some statue trouble (that came from Warehouse 2).
Who knows what will happen…?

Mission Report:
Now, it’s been a while… but it was great!
The deaths were a little gorier and direct than I remembered, but it has been a while. But the rest was good. It had a few funny moments, the story was well-done, and it was pretty enjoyable. And—spoiler alert (LOL)—Myka comes back in the end! And we have new mysterious enemies…
This was a good episode overall, and I’m glad to say that Warehouse 13 is back! YAY!

Camikazi Kid

Episode Name: Camikazi Kid
Series: Quantum Leap, Season 1
Rating: Three and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Sam leaps into Cam, a high-school nerd who likes to drag race in the 1960's. He discovers that he is to stop his... err... Cam's sister Cherryl (sp?) from marrying an abusive drinker. Sam is empowered by memories of his own sister, who also married an abusive drinker.
But Cherryl refuses to listen. Will Sam save the day after all...?

Mission Report:
Pretty decent story. The story was pretty well-done, though it might stand some tweaking. And it was nice to learn how Cherryl turned out... though we never get any data on the person Sam's being beforehand (annoying!).
The enjoyment... depended on the scene. Some were awkward. Some were only average enjoyment. Some were four-spaceship enjoyment. And the dancing scene with Sam and the kid was awesome!  Mostly, it was average enjoyment.
Overall, this was an show with a good storyline, but only average enjoyment.

The Color Of Truth

Episode Name: The Color Of Truth
Series: Quantum Leap, Season 1
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
This time, Sam leaps in Jessie, a black man who's a chauffear (sp?)... and butler, I guess... to a rich old lady. The problem? He's way down South in 1955, when they had that whole no-whites-and-blacks-together thing going on. (how do you make an angry face emicon [sp?]?)
His duty is supposedly to make sure his boss, Miss Melody, stays alive, since the original died in a train-car accident. But his beliefs on equal rights causes trouble of his own (though I'm with him all the way!)...

Mission Report:
Yep, I've started reviewing the classic sci-fi show Quantum Leap. This is a few episodes in, however, just to give you fair warning.
It's kind of funny... the last Enterprise I saw was about basing people on their looks at well! It's kind of funny...
But doesn't overally help. While I applaud how they're trying to teach a lesson, I found most of the white people in this episode jerks. Miss Melody (not sure if I heard the name right, for warning) wasn't, to be fair. And the sheriff was... decent, but still on my no-like list. Some of the characters came close to joining Sentinel Prime in the pits...
I know it was a real time in our history, but I still don't like the idea of the whole black/white separation... or even using those terms to describe people... We have to remember the past to keep from making its mistakes, sure, but... phew! This little memo is what lost the episode points. Hey, I'm Christian, remember, and it's just plain wrong!!!
Okay, I think I derailed from reviewing. Yes, what I griped about above lost the episode many points. But it was an otherwise good show. The story was well-done, barely any glitches, and a few clever "turnabouts" on the few that were there. And it's nice to see Sam leap over something big, not small like pulling the winning Bingo number or helping finish/write the song Peggy Sue. That had been annoying in the last few episodes.
And it was cool seeing Al save the day. Now, to quote Pinky Dinky Doo and who knows how many, "Now that's something you don't see every day!" And it was kind of cool how she thought it was her husband, but we all know it was Al. Though, I might have wanted to know a little more on how she heard him, if no one else can... just personal opinion. The episode was mostly enjoyable, too, I just didn't care for the timeline that was the setting.
Overall, this was a pretty good show overall, I just didn't really care for the setting (and/or the timeline that was the setting).

Detainment

Episode Name: Detainment
Series: Star Trek Enterprise, Season 1
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
On a mission, Travis and Captain Archer are captured. They wake up in a Detention Center, along with a ton of Solubons (sp?). They soon discover, however, that these Solubon are not part of the K’Bol (sp?), like the ones they have previously met. These Solubon are innocent people, and the Detention Center is an internment camp! They make friends with a Solubon father.
The humans want to help the Solubons, but it’s going to be dangerous…

Mission Report:
Actually, very good! The story was well-done, and mostly enjoyable. Plus, it had good lessons in prejudice and judging people by how they look or their race. It also is an important reminder of the internment camps, and how we must avoid anything like that ever happening again in the future. It was a good lesson episode.
The only real glitches were in the beginning and the end. The first was the beginning of the episode, where we just jump into the cell with Travis and Archer. I didn’t like feeling confused, and going, “What? Where are we? What happened? What’s going on?” The rest of the episode was good, and mostly enjoyable (though there were some uncomfortable moments and not-so-great enjoyment level moments). The ending, however, left some unanswered questions, and I did not care for that either! Of course, there are some other minor glitches, but I didn’t really notice or could tell you what they were now.
This was a good show, just needs tweaking.

Oasis

Title: Oasis
Series: Star Trek Enterprise, Season 1
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
The Enterprise is in need of some supplies. A trader they meet directs them in the direction of a crashed spaceship... but warns them of ghosts! However, they find a hidden band of aliens instead of ghosts, and agree to help them repair their downed ship. In fact, Tripp starts falling for an alien girl, LeAnna (sp?).
But there's still a mystery around this ship... one that could prove dangerous...

Mission Report:
Hmm... another more relaxing episode. It was only average enjoyment. It wasn't bad... but it wasn't great either. It was freaky in the beginning, but I'm glad that this wasn't a ghost episode.
The story needs some tweaking. For one thing, I don't think they made it very clear that the crew were aliens. I eventually put it together, part weird dialogue, part the "alien" makeup. But I wasn't aware that they were aliens for a while, and when I first spotting the makeup, I was confused. That needs work.
This is only an okay episode, and needs tweaking.

Acquisition

Episode Name: Acquisition
Series: Star Trek Enterprise
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
The Enterprise is invaded by a Ferengi crew (race never said, but I recognized their species from Next Generation). Everybody has been knocked out, except for Tripp, who was in the decontamination chamber when the knock-out gas was released. The Ferengi steal from the ship, eventually wake up the captain, trying to find the ship's vault.
Archer, Tripp, and eventually T'Pol, are working on a plan to stop the Ferengi and defeat them... but will it succeed?

Mission Report:
More enjoyable than one might think. But it was one of those more relaxing episodes, though it had a good share of action. The story was pretty well-done, but there were glitches (like, why did Krem [sp?] change his mind in the end?). There were also some funny scenes, like during the robbery at the beginning.
There were also two nice things to this episode... the use of the Vulcan knock-out pinch, and the appearance of a species I know. Now, admittedly, my knowledge of the crew's species (never revealed in the episode), probably made it more enjoyable. It was fun learning more of their culture. But it was just nice to see a species I know of. And we see some more good acting from T'Pol.
All in all, this was a pretty good episode.

Rogue Planet

Episode Name: Rogue Planet
Series: Star Trek Enterprise, Season 1
Rating: Three and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
The Enterprise encounters a rogue planet... a planet that's been thrown out of its orbit. There is still life, thanks to the volcanic thermic (sp?) vents. They detect no sentient beings, however When an away team goes down there, they discover the Esken... an alien race who has been visiting to hunt on the planet for generations, with special tech to hide their bio-signs (think energy signatures, but for humans and humanoids).
But when Archer starts seeing a mysterious human female, he may discover something else...

Mission Report:
Hmm... iffy.
It was mainly just the enjoyment level. The story was pretty well-done. But it wasn't the most enjoyable... and it did have problems. Part of it was that much of the episode was in a dark environment, but it was just an okay episode. Seeing night-vision scanners were cool, and the special effects were pretty awesome too. It started being more enjoyable near the end, but it was mainly an iffy episode.
This was just an average episode, though the story was pretty well-done (though it needs needs tweaking).

Fusion

Episode Name: Fusion
Series: Star Trek Enterprise, Season 1
Rating: Three Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
The Enterprise finds a nebula, and something else… a Vulcan ship in need of help. But these are not your typical Vulcans… they are more emotional, and trying to find a balance between logic and emotions. The two ships agree to help each other, one with repairs and the other with charting the nebula.
Things will get interesting… and maybe dangerous in some cases…

Mission Report:
Hmm… iffy episode. It was awkward in some parts. The story was decent, or should I say stories? There were two mini-ones mixed into one. It was nice to see Vulcans with emotions. And I was once again admiring the woman who plays T’Pol (no offense meant again, I just don’t have the name). There was nice acting in here, and we get a little more into T’Pol’s character… though Vulcans are pretty hard to read.
Out of the two storylines, I liked the one with Kuv (sp?) and Tripp much better. That was cleverly done, and it was more enjoyable.
Though the other storyline is the first time that we see the mind-meld in this series (I saw it in the new Star Trek movie, so it was more a relief to see something familiar). But even that went on a bad turn.
So, all in all, this was an average episode, but it had many uncomfy and awkward parts, so I suggest bracing yourself. This was average, but I doubt that it’ll make my faves list.
