Episode Name: Shadows
Series: Warehouse 13, Season 3
Rating: Three Spaceships
Mission Briefing:
Pete is trying to handle the fact that his mom's a Regent. And she's trying to remember when she last heard of A to Z Tech, the company who hired Sally. Things will go a little whacky on their own...
Meanwhile, Myka and Claudia are sent to investigate a ping. People are disappearing in Portland in a mysterious flash of light, while the power in cars and buildings go out and lights explode. A weird "shadow" of black stuff is left behind. They discover a girl who's acting weird, but she isn't the culprit... and Myka suspects a nuclear Artifact!
Will things go okay, or will things go truly nuclear?
Mission Briefing:
Yeah, I try for puns.
But things are back to normal! Warehouse 13 has left the super-dark and disturbing tone of The 40th Floor, and I'm happy about it! YAY!
Now, to reviewing. Again, the primary focus of the episode, the Stalker's Nuclear Artifact storyline, was better than the other one. But I will say that both were good. Even in the Mom's Memories storyline, it was good and well-done, around average. And watching Pete learn a lesson was kind of cool. To top it off, we also learn who the new enemy of the Warehouse is (though I've once again forgotten the name... sorry!).
To the Stalker's Nuclear Artifact storyline's review. Again, this was a pretty good and well-done story. Not my fave, it hit really only just about higher than average. But it was pretty well-done, though there were some slightly confusing moments... that usually made more sense later. It was only above average in enjoyment, though... and there were some uncomfortable moments.
Oh, and we get to learn Mrs. Fredrick's first name... Irine (sp?)!
And we see Tray again! Cool!
All in all, while it's a super-relief from The 40th Floor, this episode was only about average.
