Episode Name: The Human Factor
Series: Transformers Prime, Season 2
Rating: One Spaceship
Mission Briefing:
MECH has accomplished its newest, twisted goal... they have combined the bodies of Silas and Breakdown to revive their leader! Silas, in return, eliminates them... and goes and gets a super-weapon... for handing over to Megatron! Why? He wants to join the Decepticons!
Meanwhile, Bulkhead is still recovering, and still cranky and wanting to get out. Then the Decepticons, with the help of Silas, goes to get the code needed to activate the super-weapon. Things are going to get hectic... and the Autobots are down more than just one, because Raf's grounded!!!
Will the day be saved?
Mission Report:
There are times when special effects are too good! This episode was one of them. They lost the episode some a lot of points this time around, though they are usually a good thing (especially for this show).
The story, however, was pretty well-done. Not the best, but not exactly the worse either.
Now to enjoyment. It was pretty enjoyable for most of it (except for the murders at beginning, though we never saw anything, and complaint said above).
But the ending was the true killer! Okay, I'm glad we don't have to worry about MECH and Silas ever again, but killing the poor guy was over the top. Admittedly, it was cool seeing Knock Out miss his assistant (Breakdown) and actually feeling for him, but... yeah, it was over the top and not fun.
This is my least-fave episode of the Season, and maybe of the whole series!
