Episode Name: The Probe

Mission Briefing:
Cybertron, in concern for Optimus and his Maximals, sends temporal probes out to find them. When Optimus and the others identify this, they start setting up a ray to send a signal to the probe so that they can go home. But the Predacons learn of the ray and probe, and head out to stop them. And they got a transformation freeze ray to help...

Mission Report:
Oh man, this is the worst episode I've hit yet! The episode was not really enjoyable and confusing. We never really got why the Preds (as the Predacons are called sometimes) stopped the signal. Did they want to stay on that planet? Didn't they want to get off? It was never very clear. And the ending was sad, almost no hope!
This episode also reminded me of a Gen-1 episode that wasn't my favorite called The Autobot Run. In it, there was also a transform-freeze ray that stuck the good guys in their car modes, and they were pretty much helpless (which makes no sense, but will complain when do that episode's post). Of course, here it was in beast mode, but same idea. I wonder if that was on purpose, or if the creators even knew... oh well, just an interesting note.
This is the worst Beast Wars episode I've seen yet!
