Alienated

Episode Name: Alienated
Series: Eureka, Season 1
Rating: Four Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Deputy Jo (maybe spelled Joe, but using most likely version) goes to quiet down a movie-a-thon. She joins them in watching the hacked movie, They Came To Conquer. But the next day, the "leader" of this "party", Henri's assistant Spencer, is found hurt and dazed in something like a crop circle, and believes that aliens have invaded! Meanwhile, the Congressman Faraday is visiting Eureka, to discuss funding. But he has more sinister notions.
People start disappearing, mainly the guys in the movie-a-thon! Things are about to get dangerous...
Does a malfunctioning weapon have to do with it, or have aliens really invaded the Earth?

Mission Briefing:
Finally, something off the three-Spaceship meter! The story was good and pretty enjoyable, though I am disappointed that there were no aliens. Everything made sense in the end, of course, but I was getting ready for the show to go really into the sci-fi genre, but then it turns out to be something else. Yeesh...
And we're getting more into the hidden enemy. I still have no idea who it is, but the Congress guy's in it, as well as the... mind-doctor is probably not a nice term for it, but I have no idea how to spell it, so no offense meant at all to those of that profession! (Physcaitrist... sp?). Anyway, we "see" what they want (this time). Sure, it was the reflection in a radioactive protection suit, but awesome anyway. I think they said it was made on Earth, but I wasn't sure (I'm not a total techie, despite loving science and Transformers). I wish that they had made it more clear during the episode.
Anyway, it was a pretty good show, and I was glad to have a better episode come my way at last.
