Mission Briefing:
When a group of female Autobots invade Decepticon Headquarters on Cybertron, it's discovered that these females exist, though all were thought dead! Megatron sends orders to capture the leader of the female Autobots, Elita-1! He has nasty plans for her...
And her lover Optimus Prime!

Mission Report:
Yeah, the name "The Search For Alpha Trion" doesn't fit this episode. Sure, there's a search, but it's not a real search. Here's a story glitch, but Optimus somehow knew where Alpha Trion's base was! Weird... the story was more based on the female Autobots' existence and fight, and the love relationships, etc., etc., etc....
But the story was pretty well done. The second half of the episode had some problems, starting with the above mentioned. And Optimus Prime had a love life! I wonder why Elita-1 or the other girlfriends ever came up. They basically replaced Moonracer (Powerglide's girl) with Astoria! Yeesh... they love forgetting series details!
Back to a different subject: Elita-1! Seriously, it's a good idea to keep a love relationship going if you introduce it. Why didn't they keep it? Elita-1 never comes back up anywhere in this series! Yeesh!
Anyway, despite this, was a pretty good show overall.
