Mission Briefing:
Wheeljack has made a new invention: the Wheeljack Instant Immobilizer! This object freezes any moving object in its tracks. Unluckily, during a get-a-piece-for-broken-Immobilizer run, Ravage manages to place a mircobug on Bumblebee, so the Decepticons learn of the Immobilizer!
Meanwhile, Ironhide is having doubts whether or not he's too old to do the Autobot thing anymore. It doesn't help that the Decepticons manage to ambush the Autobots on his watch!
But he may just have to forget age when the Autobots' new friend, Carlee, is captured by the Decepticons... and don't forget that Immobilizer!

Mission Report:
Ah, they came off the rebound! This one of my favorites. The story's good, though it has a few story glitches. This is where we see what I like to call the first version of Slo-Mo's watch (S.U.V.--Society of Ultimate Villainy, Transformers Animated, Season 2). *Giggle*...
Plus, we meet Spike's love life and the main female character of this series (at least until Season 3, where we get Arcee): Carlee! Nice to have a girl in the flow! And she's got to be older than Spike... (I'm just guessing) since she drives a car! Now, for all I know, Spike's older than her and just rides around in the Autobots at this point, but that's just my guess! Anyway, welcome to the series, Carlee!
