Master Blaster

Episode Name: Master Blaster
Series: Beast Wars Transformers, Season 3
Rating: Three and A Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Optimus Primal has been taken over! During an amusing Waspinator distraction, Tarantulas bugs Optimus with a bug-thingie that allows Quickstrike to control Optimus. Megatron manages to get into the Ark due to this, and manages to merge his Spark with the original Megatron's. But treachery makes things dangerous, like the everything-in-danger kind!
And it's up to Blackarachnia to save the day... and the Beast Wars Megatron might not be so dead...

Mission Report:
Okay, Tarantulas is an idiot! If he had succeeded in destroying his Megatron, the Megatron of the past would have died, meaning no Decepticons, meaning no Preds, meaning "bye-bye" universe! IDIOT!
Okay, I've done that yelling. To reviewing the actual episode. This will not hit my favorite list. I thought at first that it was another "Berserker Optimus" episode like Gorilla Warfare. And then it was an "Optimus-took-over" episode! That was not enjoyable! Sure, it was a little fun hearing Quick's cowboy talk through OP, but then it stops. This episode reminded me of a Gen-1 episode called Attack Of The Autobots with the same thing (except it was most of the Autobot army, including Optimus Prime). Yeah, I didn't care for it either.
The story was pretty good, however. It was well-done, but not the greatest for enjoyment. There was one big flaw/question (other than what I yelled about), however. It centers on the original Megatron's Spark. It Beast Wars Megatron going to give back his namesake's Spark? He's going to have to, right? Or else what I was yelling at Tarantulas at above. Is he? That was never clear, and I'd rather be clear! There were a confusing part near the end as well.
It was fun seeing the original Megatron in CGI however!
And "Dragon-tron"... fun!
This won't be my favorite episode, but it didn't bomb the place either.
