Autobot Spike

Episode Name: Autobot Spike
Series: The Transformers, Season 2 (1985)
Rating: One and a Half Spaceships

Mission Briefing:
Sparkplug has made a robo-Frankenstein, Autobot X. Bad news is, the intro was highly similar to the Dinobots'... kaboom goes the nearby objects (luckily, Teletraan-1 remained unharmed this time). Then the Decepticons attack a rocket base, which ends up like their usual plans... to-tal failure! To make sure the Autobots don't tag along on the retreat, Megatron blasts Bumblebee, with Spike inside. Spike is badly hurt, and the only safe way to operate on his body is to transfer his mind to Autobot X... but there are dangerous side-effects. Spike is having trouble controlling himself from blasting/tearing/smashing everything in sight.
Is Megatron going to let this oppurtunity (sp?) slip from his grasp?
Do I even have to ask?

Mission Report:
Another loser to content.
The story was pretty good; just a few mistakes. The killer was "evil, out-of-control Spike". And I would like to have a little more detail on how the mind transfer had that "little" side-effect. But it was not comfy watching Spike, in Autobot X, becoming out-of-control and evil.
This was not a great way to start off Season 2.
This is another least-fave episode.
